    Don't call these people they are PDL, big,big rip off. I had a loand thru PDL, biggest mistake I ever made.  I do not use any Payday loan companies any nore, learned my lesson the hard way!!!!!!!!!!!!  They claim they are on an Indian reservation and do not have to be legal in any states.  I call the attorney generals offie in Oregon.  If you do have a loan thru these peopleyou have to pay back the principal plus a one time fee, nothing.

    All I can say is if you call me and I don't answer and you get my voice mail, leave me a message-if not we will never talk.  All those people are scum of the earth and act like they are better than we are when in my opinion they are 1000 times worse.....................................screw them.  Figure what you borrowed then subtract the fees they charged and tell them you will only pay the remainder.  Really blow their mind and tell them you have gone bankrupt and been foreclosed on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I just read attorney general office says if you make the loan, you have to pay the principal and a one time charge.  I believe that OneClickCash and Extra Funds.com are illegal. Ihave two loans and that is illegal per Ag in oregon.  They don't want you to pay the loan back asap.  They are only supposed to charge you $31 fee. They are calling and marketing these loans.  Then you don't know how to tell them to deduct the full loan to pay it off. Oregon also says they can't roll it over but 2 times and the companies are doing at least four times.  THESE LOANS ARE ILLEGAL.  i FEEL LIKE CLOSING MY ACOUNT  AND TELLING THEM I AM BANKRUPT AND ATTORNEY GENERAL WILL COME AFTER THEM IF  THEY DON'T CEASE AND DESIST.  IT ISN'T EASY FIGHTING THESE PEOPLE, BUT THEY HAVE YOU RIGHT BY THE THROAT WHEN YOU NEED MONEY QUICK AND DON'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT FOR THE PROCESS WITH BANK OR CREDIT UNION AND THEN YOU MIGHT GET TURNED DOWN.  IT IS A HARD LESSON TO LEARN. i HAVE PAID ENOUGH IN ROLLOVER FEES TO PAY THE LOAN OFF AND I AM FURIOUS. IF YOU LIVE IN ONE OF THESE STATES and were approved for a PAYDAY loan after they were banned  - IT WAS ILLEGAL and the payday loan company IS responsible for breaking the law.

    CHECK WITH YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE FIRST

    High cost payday loans are illegal in 16 states.  As of the end of 2008, the following states outlaw these very expensive loans:
        Arizona (added July 1, 2010)
        Arkansas
        Connecticut
        Georgia
        Maine
        Maryland
        Massachusetts
        New Hampshire
        New Jersey
        New York
        North Carolina
        Ohio
        Oregon
        Pennsylvania
        Vermont
        West Virginia
    Payday loans are also illegal in the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
    In addition, Congress banned payday lending to service members and their families.

    West Virginia Sues Eight Payday Lenders
    Firms charged with using Internet to circumvent state law

    August 24, 2010

    West Virginia is one of a handful of states that have banned payday loans. So when lenders use the Internet to do business with residents of that state, the state's attorney general goes to court.
    West Virginia Attorney Darrell McGraw has filed suit, asking the Court to order the eight companies, which have refused to cooperate with his investigation, to surrender the records of their West Virginia-based accounts and to halt lending activities in the state.

    Payday loans are high-interest loans or cash advances with interest rates that reach as high as 600-to-800 percent APR. The loans, typically made for 14 days, are secured by a post-dated check or an agreement authorizing electronic debits from the consumer's checking account.

    "When a company sets foot in West Virginia, whether in person or over the Internet, my office has a duty to ensure the enterprise complies with state law," McGraw said. "Any company that makes payday loans must halt its usurious business and produce records identifying its victims."

    The companies and principals sued by Attorney General McGraw's office are:
    • Payday Loan Resource Center LLC and Moe Tassoudi of Scottsdale, AZ;
    • DirectROI d/b/a Cash West Payday Loans and Mike Brewster of Chandler, AZ;
    • First American Credit;
    • LoanPointe LLC, Joe E. Strom, Benjamin J. Lonsdale, James C. Endicott and Mark S. Lofgren of Highland, UT;
    • Eastbrook LLC d/b/a Ecash and GeteCash of Provo, UT;
    • National Title Loans d/b/a National Cash 12 of Elsmere, DE;
    • Payday Financial LLC d/b/a www.LakotaCash.com and Martin Webb of Timber Lake, SD;
    • Payday Loans-ACH d/b/a www.ACHLoans.com of Emeryville, CA.

    End run

    McGraw says Payday Loan Resource Center attempts to circumvent state law by charging West Virginia customers a monthly fee to help them obtain Internet payday loans. A suit filed earlier this year by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) charged Ecash and GeteCash with attempting to garnish wages without a court order. Lakota Cash claims to be an Indian tribe and therefore not subject to the laws of any state.

    Since McGraw began investigating the industry in 2005, his office has reached settlements with 107 Internet payday lenders and their collection agencies, resulting in $2,452,979.87 in refunds and canceled debts for 8044 West Virginians.

    "Payday loans are predatory traps for the many West Virginians facing difficult times," McGraw said. "We will continue to ask the courts to intervene whenever companies refuse to cooperate with our efforts to protect West Virginia citizens."

    FYI: I'm a PDL customer..no nightmares with them yet, but they do send pestering emails and TEXT messages despite me sending them return text's asking for them to stop.have received several calls from the number you speak of here..I didn't know it was these payday loan type people. have not answered any of them as i figured it was  telemarketeers. they leave no messages in my voice mail..anyway they were such a nusinance and the only way that i could block them on my cell phone was to put them in my contacts list and create a contact for "unknown telemarket" and then i'm able to place a  no-ring on this contact , meaning they call but the phone doesn't ring( i've blocked the ring) and i only see it later when i see a missed call..to my surprise when i put your number (877-6708890) in my cell tonite and hit send it came up in my contact list as "unknown telemarket"...didn't even know we were talking about the same people and they were pestering me thru phone calls also.

    Subject:     Re: Notice of Updated Status

    Hello Chelsey Nelson,

    I hope your company is not paying anyone for referrals...as the information they gave you regarding my personal and financial information is more than 4 years old and does not pertain to my situation any longer.  I am no longer employed, I haven't lived at that address since 2007, I no longer have a driver's license, nor a checking account, and more than likely I can't or haven't paid off the loan from the prior lender who sent you my information.  I would seriously check into where your referrals are coming from and whether or not your company is paying for the referrals...because if you are, you're getting ripped off.

    Please delete ALL of my info from your files so that my personal & financial information does not continue to be emailed or handed out like "Buy One Get One Free" consumer offers.  Better yet, could you please forward the referrer's contact information to me so that I may take care of this situation personally & legally?

    Thank you,

    *******
