Called from private number stating her name is Rose Taylor and that I will be served at home or work address on file with a legal action that is going against me she asks for me to call back at this number with a complaint number given. I've looked this # up and no company comes up...SCAM?

Yeah it is. They say anything that'll perhaps create hysteria and include it in the message. A good indication it's an extortion scam is the simple fact that you're not going to be forewarned that "papers will be served". This number called me and two other family members saying I had an account from 10 years ago! They tried to make me pay over the phone and said I have until the end of the day to avoid paying $4k in legal fees of the Sheriff will serve me with papers. I requested an email or something in writing. Scary thing is she rambled off my SS# and DL info.

Of course it's a scam! REAL process servers don't call in advance and they don't take money to not serve you.

They did?! That's great! Then please share with us the legal name and business address of this company. It's right there on the "paid in letter" you received. Of course, we all know you won't provide this information because you're a shill but one can hope.
By the way, you don't send anything to experian "to show my account as paid in full". But nice try.

Just FYI, email is not a legal method of debt validation. Nor are phone calls, texts, or faxes. Only paperwork sent via good old US mail.

I also got a call and voice mail from a blocked number. Caller identified herself as Julie Davis from “legal service dispatch”, and asked me to call back the “issuing” firm at 877-671-1024 and warned me against non-compliance. The message sounded more like an intimidation than a messenger service trying to deliver mail. No company with this number exits, and if you call this number, a woman voice’s greeting “litigation department”, with no name of the firm/business. Dont fall for this.

I have the same story....left a voicemail saying to call about a civil lawsuit. Called back and account from Wells Fargo that was force closed in 2009. Said he could put a 24 hour hold on the account until Monday. Would have to pay by 3pm or the attorney with incriminating evidence against me would take me to court. After freaking out and calling MANY family and friends, gonna wait this one out to see if I will ever be “served.” Also, called Wells Fargo and they advised me to check statue of limitations in my state. Also, tried to google the Laird Mediation Group and got NOTHING

Of course you're never going to be served. Real process servers don't call in advance.
And I highly doubt Wells Fargo told you to check the "statue of limitations" in your state since there's no such thing.

I also got called from a blocked number with “Julie Davis from legal service dispatch” and they called my mother as well. She freaked out but I know that it is a scam. Never fall for over the phone threats like this. Also, they asked me to call 714-386-6124 back so that’s another number associated with this same exact scam.

Same thing happened to me just now same person same call back number expect they were calling not for me but for my husband - I smell total SPAM and not falling for this bull
