877-673-0203 called and said it was WF (Melissa Brown)...tried calling the # back but nothing identifies WF as who I called....weird.

Definitely a scam number, claiming to be from Wells Fargo. Connected with a Wells Fargo email phishing scam. Beware!

Got my SS number asking about my business I was opening.

They sent me an email after I went on line to open a account. He was asking for all my personal information and business information.  This number is a scam. I ask for a supervisor and he put me on hold, hoping I would hang up. What a low life, go and get a real job. God will deal with them. My credit reports are blocked and my social security number.

Kept getting emails from Wells Fargo saying im opening an account and small business application. Right name, right email, wrong phone number. Looked up the phone number 877 673 0203 the number the email gave me to contact them, and wells Fargo came up, however I looked at all the wells Fargo "contact us" phone numbers and none of the started with 877. Lets see if they call me in a couple days like the email said.

looked up (877) 673-0203 and came here. There was a secure wellsfargo email link, I've clicked on them before for other things previously so I knew it wasn't a scam. In the wellsfargo secure email, that is how I called (877) 673-0203.  I gave them everything, in the end, couldn't open an account and they updated my info on wells fargo and made an appointment for me.

Definitely sketchy.

It is a legit wells fargo business banking number. It's tied to a specific branch hence why it isn't on the website. I called them, gave them my social then hesitated on 2fa when I found this forum and promptly hung up. But then I called wells fargo business through their website and they routed me to this exact phone number where they helped me out. Account was opened and it is a legitimate wells fargo number.

Just which "specific branch" is that?  What is its street address?  How did you happen to come upon this number to begin with?

After reading through the previous posts, yours reads just like the type of post a Shill for a scam would write to try and do "damage control".

Be alert. Called to collect information and claim to authenticate Wells Fargo account. It showed up as scam. They advise you to hang up and call the same number. DON'T!

Considering the post you are replying to, I suspect that you misspelled  your name.
I believe it should be spelled as "Shilly".
