We've gotten several calls from this number. They leave no message & the caller ID shows unavailable. We've even answered these calls sometime & whoever is on the other end says nothing. We aren't overdue on any accounts, overdrawn at the bank, overlimit on any credit cards, nor have anything in collection. We're sick of it and want to know if there's any action we can take.

Ditto, same number and when I say hello several time, a voice comes on and says, "good-bye."

This is one of many unsolicited calls I get most every day which usually appear as "unknown," "unavailable," "annonymous," or "toll free call" on the caller ID.  I never pick up the phone if I don't know who it is.

I called this number back and a woman answered "thank you for calling the office of guide to grants" This is a solicitation from a loan/grant company

this number called me (on my cell phone!!!) so I called it back. they knew my name and then said "how do you plan to use this money?" they said I could get a grant. knew it was a scam and just hung up.

I got a call from this number and they hung up on me. I called back to find out who it was and they hung up on me again. A total of 5 times. I got a manager on the phone and told them to red flag my number. What that is, if they call back after you are red flagged, they have to pay a fine. I was a telemarketer for 10 years. They have no right to treat people the way they treated me. I am going to do more research on this and when I find something out, I will leave a post here. Good luck to who ever gets this call.

I told them that I didn't need any federal money. Then I asked them to take my cell number out of their system.

THEY ARE A GRANT COMPANY THAT HELP YOU PREPARE YOUR PAPERWORK FOR GOVERNMENT GRANTS.  THEY SEND YOU A PACKAGE AND "FREE MEMBERSHIP" IF YOU PAY SHIPPING AND HANDLING.  HOWEVER, THE FREE MEMBERSHIP IS FOR 10 DAYS AND AFTER THAT THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE WHATEVER CARD YOU GAVE THEM FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP FEE.  THIS IS A SCAM.  YOU CAN GET THIS INFORMATION WITH GOOD OLD FASHIOHNED RESEARCH.  YOU DO NOT NEED THEM.  GOVERNMENT GRANTS ARE OUT THERE BUT YOU DO NOT NEED THESE GUYS TO GET THEM.

I played along with them to get as much info from them as possible. A 2.95$ shipping fee for some paper work to get a grant. I told them I wanted 5000$ and that it was for education. She really pushed at me to get my debt. card number. This seems like a scam to me, even though I'm sure it's totally legal.
Just dont give your info like that over the phone. I hope everyone knows that. This reminds me of a scam I ran into on the internet. Pay like $10.00 and they will teach you too make a billion dollars a min on the web. Then if you don't cancel (or even if you do cancel) they start hitting you with 50.00$ a month or they sign you up for things you never meant to. BE CAREFUL.

I have gotten several of these calls where no one speaks, then suddenly there is an electronic "goodbye". I finally returned the call, twice, and got, "your call is very important to us", no identification of company name, and, "an agent will be with you shortly". Shortly, the call disconnected.

Now that I know this is a "Grant Help" company. I recall that they actually called and spoke to me some time ago. I told them I wasn't interested and to remove me from their call list. I'm already supposed to be on a no call list, so, I believe they need to be reported for violation.
