Got a couple of calls but never answered.  Today got a "urgent notice" in the mail with this number on it.  Says it's from "Florida Energy Conservation."  It gives a web address as www.FloridaEnergyConservation.org.  Interestingly, I got a notice with my SECO power bill about all the scams going on regarding energy audits and that is exactly what this thing I got in the mail is promoting.  SECO says free energy audit is available from SECO.  I imagine the same is true for other power companies.  I'm not going to answer this number nor am I going to mail back the "urgent energy audit" card they sent to me.  I think these are all scams.  Before you fall for any of these things check with your power company and report any suspicious calls or mailings to 1-800-HELP-FLA.  According to the SECO news letter, the problem of phony energy audit companies has gotten so bad that "...the state of Florida is suing to try and stop energy audit telemarketers."  Don't let strangers into you home.  Be safe!
