Unknown number, did not answer

We've got a Screen Machine and it totally gives these idiot-scam-callers a taste of their own medicine. Once they call us they hear a recorded message telling them that it's illegal to call us regarding unwanted calls, and if it's a machine they hear you have to push #5 to get through. We only hear the first ring, our call display shows us whether we should answer or not, if it's someone who is legitimate then they push #5 and the call is put through to us. Great device I highly recommend it.

Showed on the screen as 874 544 5884 but showed up in 'missed calls' as 877 675 1964 - Very weird

I get the same call everyone else reported. They try to sell you a trip to Cancun. I play along and keep them on the line as long as possible. If they want to waste my time I will waste theirs.

it called my cell phone left a voicemail saying i won a trip to mixco... a bunch a [***] i wana call back and yell at them really bad

A call from 1-877-675-1964 to my cell phone was not answere.
I'm not sure who is trying to sell what, but I'm glad I did not answer after reading comments that it some American company trying to rip off consumers. My cell phone is on the Canadian Do Not Call list. Obviously that does not bother some companies.

yes i also recieved a call on my cell phone and on the canadian do not call list. the sad think is they try to eat up your air time on your cell phone

I just got the same call. I didn't answer because when it is "unknown name", I never do.

This number calls my house like 5 times a day!!! Can't f*ckin stand it!!

Received a message on my answering machine saying I had won the cancun trip ... fortunately, I wasn't here to press anything.

just so everyone realizes, the do not call list doesn't stop companies outside of canada from calling you, the best thing to do is get some sort of call screening, and there's no point getting angry and sounding foolish with the things you say. just ignore the phone and don't get stressed about it.

Do you ppl really have to ask if this is a scam?? REALLY??? c'mon ppl, ofcourse it's a scam and just to let you all know, if you answer your phone or let it go to answering machine or VM be warned, they have just collected your number as active and working and now your number is sold to other telemarketers which means more unwanted calls.

If you have an iPhone then download the iBlacklist app and you can start blocking these clowns, try calling your local phone company or carrier and ask what they can do to help stop these calls, they have done wonders for me, I might only get one call in 6mths after asking my cell carrier to stop this sh*t.
