Who is this caller?  Keep getting calls.

Got a call from this number for my mother in law. I asked them their business name and physical address and they refused to provide. They became upset and hung up on me. I called them back and advised that per Fair Credit Reporting and Debt Collection/mediation practices they are required by law to identify themselves and provide a physical address of the business. They refused. I advised I needed the address to forward in a cease and desist order from my attorney and they hung up. Tip to all of you, answer and ask questions. They will stop calling. If you dont answer, they will keep calling.I have been scammed before by similar businesses and I learned my lesson. Answer and after introductions ask them to hold for just  second. Return to the call and advise them that this phone call is being recorded. Any legit business will understand or ask to send documentation by mail to avoid misinterpretation. If they get upset and hang up... They are fraudulent.

Immediate response is necessary in order to avoid charges being filed.  The usual scam stuff

Wants to collect on a bad check.  Haven't written a check in years.  Knew my name but it's been in the phone book for twenty years at this number.  Recorded announcement with an East coast accent but dumps to someone in India when deciding to play along.

called them they didnt know my name and i asked about them being a scam. The lady called me a cracker [***] [***] and hung up. lmao best phone call ever

They started off saying that I needed to pick up a parcel but then changed it to say that a complaint was filed against me for a return item for my bank.

Got a call from them and they left a message saying I need to call back about a parcel that was almost delivered but couldn't be signed.  Left this number and said to call back.  Based on the other responses, I'm not calling back plus i never ordered anything.

Smart move. It's a scam. They'll claim to have legal papers to deliver to you but lo and behold! If you pay them the debt you're (supposedly) being sued for they will stop the proceedings. Problem is, real process servers don't call in advance and you can't pay your way out of being served.  Just block and ignore such calls.
