I get several calls from this number and no one on the other line responds.

It is DirecTV

got a call from this number. when I called back it was direct tv but then disconnected.  Anyone know what dept this if from? my account in current so I don't think it's any collection dept

Anyone who gets service with direct tv is a fool they are a  rip off I paid them my mf'n money and they sending me to a department that closed at 8.

Go to dish their customer service is better

It is Direct TV   So its ligit.  I know everyone is getting jumpy with all these scam calls coming through I'm getting them too.
But I called back but not until I looked up number on Bill.   Just thought Id let everyone know it really is Direct TV

You're missing the point - NEVER give out personal information on a call you did not make, & to a number you did not check out first. Caller ID spoofing (faking) is so common now you cannot trust that the person on the phone is who they say they are. Never call back a number given to you in a fax, text, or email. Never call back a number to 'see who called'.

Went to DTV from Comcast and their navigation software is even older then Comcast's lousy software! Their service was better though and yet they deceived me about the second year monthly payments which were over $20 more then they claimed as I signed up. 2 yr. contract up and I try to cancel and both call within less then a week, I get "our computers are down, please call back which I was doing". Told them they needed to take my account number and call me back, they wouldn't. Called the credit card and disputed charge.  Now they are call from this number and twice I answer and they hang up.  I've left cable/satellite all together for my Apple TV and am simplifying life. More exercise, communication with the wife, and culture by getting out and doing more then lazily glued to TV. FREEDOM!

Direct tv - talk about a bunch of [***].  Cancelled my account in Michigan and moved to Nevada.  Had my wife sign us up for Direct tv in Nevada.  Then they took my Michigan account an transferred it to Nevada.  Now I have two accounts at the same house and they refuse to admit it or change it.  I apparently have 11 televisions and two programming packages in one house with two people.  American Express in now chewing them a new a.... over the charges to my cards.

The more angry you get with them, the more the lowlifes working there try to f.... you over.  And our politicians sleep on....

Wow...sounds like pretty bad stuff I'm hearing about direcTv.  Makes me want to close the account and try something else. Got a message of the screen to refresh card at directv.726. Anyway, now that AT&T has taken over, I might close the account.  Most likely we're going to see increases. I have an old contract. The price scheme is going change dramatically so they can drum up revenue from the pre-existing customers accounts. This number must be apart of the billing department. Other than AT&T taking over I don't believe we had any real issues until today. But I'll pay what I owe, close the account and see what the internet's offering, too.

Yes you signed an agreement that states what the 2nd year will be and disconnect fees. All you need to do is talk nicely and they will give you a deal on the 2nd year. Read the fine print.!

I have got many calls from direct tv  that  calls to early  then when I later would talk with them  it is like they do not know what is going on . They read from a paper  I think . I have had so much troubles from this number  but also from direct tv One of the higher up ladies that called me was so rude  as she was speed talking  but also  it was like she was mad at me when I have no ideal what was going on . I tried to ask questions  but she would not let me . So I went to a store in Ludington that has direct tv & AT& T servers   that a David  man was so very nice trying to help me with all of the troubles I got from the phone of direct tv. 11-02-17  Try not to get stress as I did from the callers of direct tv. Good luck if you try to work with them .
