Lady called about debt collection and wanted personal data.Called 4 times in a row!!!

"Allen" from HireRight left a message-employment verification on someone who does not work here and never has.

Caller claims to want to verify if the person has attended our school

answered this call and no one spoke........so i just hang up on them.

Lady called and of course you could not understand but a couple of words she said. I finally figured out that she was trying to get records on a past employee. Told her that I needed written permission from past employer in order to give her this information. I gave her my fax # in which she could fax to. She wanted my name...didn't get it. When she faxed the request ...of course it did not contain his signature. Fax them back their request...blank of course!

Actually, I got a call from this number. The lady immediately identified herself as being with HireRight. They were doing employee verification, which is a job we've outsourced. I gave her the contact info, she thanked me, it was all very pleasant and professional. No problem.
