Wanted me to go for the ATT Universe tv package.

I called the number back & got a voice mail for AT&T Customer Service.  The voice did tell me that if I did not want to receive AT&T's exciting packages I could leave my name & number at the beep to be placed on their DNC list.  We'll see what happens.

Female caller asked for my husband. He wasn't home. She then asked what was the best time to call him. I told her he wouldn't be home until 11 pm or after. Then she just hung up. If she wasn't so rude, I would NOT have followed up with finding out who it was. I did what the lady in Texas did... left my name & number on the Do Not Call list.

The caller was a real person (not a recording) who said he was with my local AT&T entertainment carrier. I had a feeling this was a sales call for U-verse, which I don't want, so I hung up the phone mid-spiel. Seeing Unknown Name on the caller ID screams telemarketer to me.

I said Hello 3 times no response so I hung up. This is almost as bad as 866-311-9739 but they,866, call 3 or 4 times a day all I do now is hit answer and end .

Suspicious / unknown caller. SAID HELLO, NO RESPONSE WAS RECEIVED.

Calls every few days. I don't pick up because I  recognize the number. They contaminate my answering machine with a loud dial tone because they hang up. I don't understand the strategy of these people and/or who they work for. I will NEVER answer their call.

The phone rings I pick up and no one answers I stay on the line in case it is a telemarketer I can tell them to take me off thier list but I get no answer whatsoever even after I stay on the line for a while.

I pick up and no one answers!  They keep calling me, very annoying.

This number calls several times every day.  I do not answer
 as I have caller ID.   It is well known that people in jail or
 prison use this method to get people to accept charges.

The telephone number I have from AT&T is my fax number which I keep "Call Forwarding" on 24/7.  The only time I turn Call Forwarding off is when I know I'm going to receive a fax, then it's back on again.

By the way, my AT&T telephone number is forwarded to 877-684-8139 or sometimes a local area pay telephone which under most circumstances, cannot accept incoming calls. Next time you're near a pay telephone that doesn't accept incoming calls, call the number anyway and listen to the voice recorded message.

My residential/cell phone number are one in the same. I have software downloaded on my cell phone that blocks unwanted calls by name, telephone number, area codes and international country calling codes.  The ONLY calls that ring through are family, friends, relatives and business associates.

I can honestly say that the last time I received a telemarketing call was probably back in 2006 or 2007.

Most call blocking software for cell phones are found via Google or Yahoo search.  TRY IT. YOU'LL LOVE IT.

This number just does not leave a message, they never say anything when I do answer. I wish it would stop. 877-684-8139 stop calling.

THIS NUMBER RINGS AND SHOWS "TOLL FREE CALL" on caller-id. Upon answering call there is no one there. This a nuisance type call no matter if ATT owns the number for marketing purposes. They evidentally have some illegal aliens hired to do their bidding or someone who is so stupid that it is beyond belief. Either way, att is wrong in this style of approach which makes me MAD as to never want any of their products.  ATT YOU ARE THE LOSER IN THIS GAME!!!
