National Grid collections robo-call.

Received multiple calls from this number but they hung up as soon as I answered.  I called the number and they answered on the first ring and identified as National Grid and started wanting information.  I hung up and called National Grid directly because it sounded suspicious.

ROBOCALL - account past due and going to be shut off.. but they offer COVID payment help, they give you a different number than the one calling was an 800 number.. Definitely a scam. We are a business and our bills are always paid on time. We have never been past due in the 10 yrs I have been here.

Called and said my National Grid account was past due. I knew that it was not. I ignored the suggestion to speak with a rep. . This is definitely a scam call.

Called about past due bill I don’t have.

Left a voicemail- “Plus back at 800-443-1837 to make a payment or sign up for a deferred payment agreement to prevent possible service disconnection in the future again visit us at N grid.com/payment assistance or call us at 800-443-1837 we understand these are financially difficult times for many and we are here to help if you've already paid this balance or made payment arrangements thank you this message is from national grid 300 Erie Blvd. W., Syracuse, NY 13202 goodbye…”.    1-800 number they gave is listed as national grids number but I have automatic payments and my bill is caught up.

BS. We are enrolled in auto pay and up to date. Scam vermin fishing for personal data.

Fake robocall posing as a bill collector for the power company. I am on auto-pay and never miss a payment. Someone needs to shut these fools down.

WARNING: This IS National Grid collections. It is NOT a scam. Instead, it's National Grid being Stupid. If you are on AUTOPAY, their COMMON software glitch failed to take your payment out of your account. Then YOU get a call as if you failed to pay. National Grid has been pulling this BS for years, too lazy to fix their own glitch. If you get this call, do NOT ignore it because the SOBs will come after you as a non payer and you will spend HOURs fixing THEIR error. Call them back and tell them to get off their butts and fix their problem. We've been on autopay for decades and got one of these calls. If you don't call, they will continue to badger you and you could go to collections because their IT people are too stupid to fix their own problem.

WARNING! This MIGHT be National Grid but it might also be someone spoofing the number.
By the way, why are you even here? You clearly know who called you so there's no logical reason for you to look up the phone number.
