I keep getting a call from an unknown number. The person leaves me a message telling me that I need to call the legal dept. @ 877-689-4821 then gives me a case # to refer to. Tell me that I have 24hrs to call this # or they will come by my house or place of employment & serve me papers to appear in court. If I refuse to call them & speak to the legal dept. that could mean more charges against me. Is this a scam?

I just got the same message, word for word, i believe it is a scam.  They didn't leave a business name, address, what it's about, nothing.  They can kiss my butt.

I got that message too...twice. You re right they didn't leave any company information and I tried to look the number up and didn't find anything. I have been scammed before with a fake debt collector.
