Ms. Matthews called my work TWICE which is against FCPA. They can only call your work one time to locate you. She left a message on a shared VM that my "case" will be expedited to my county and included a case number. Strike 2 and 3. I will be per suing this legally. I wanted to call back to tell her not to call me at work but know it won't help and will only get me stressed out..ugh!

Just so you are fully armed:

It is the FDCPA, not the "FCPA"[sic] and I believe you are mistaken about the provisions regarding calls to your place of work.  IIRC, they are not allowed to call you at work if your employer prohibits such calls, but you have to inform them of this circumstance.  Such calls are not locator calls, they are dunning calls, and a reasonable number of them would likely be permissible absent your invoking a prohibition to the contrary.  However, do NOT take my (or anyone's) word for it.  Instead, read the law for yourself.  You will find that I provided a link to the FTC's web site on this topic in an earlier post on the first page of this thread, but here it s again:  http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpajump.shtm

Good luck with your lawsuit. This company has repeatedly called me looking for someone named Andrew Staton. I have never heard of this person! I have repeatedly asked them to remove my number and to place it on their do not call list, but I continue to receive calls....somedays 3 or 4 a day! They also call from different phone numbers!

This is so fake, they call all the time. They say that their lawyer is Kate Wagner, I contacted her, she is a lawyer in NJ. She has nothing to do with them. I google mapped their address and it an old boarded up burger king. They emailed me the info saying that I owe $2200 to CashNet, never had a loan from them. The letter had my street as my son's, a Texas city, Alaska as the state and the county in Michigan. It is a big scam. I keep calling and now they say I am harrassing them, They call me foul names and hung up on me, all the signs of a legit company, right? I get names like Tracy Stein and Tina. They gave me bank account numbers from a bank I never used, saying I got a payday loan into that account. They called my ex husband and said he was linked to it as well, we've been divorced over 10 years! I hope these people get busted, I going to try to help that happen.

They call all the time with names of Tracy Stein, Melissa McQuire, Tina Valle-Scott. They say their lawyer is Kate Wagner, I contacted Kate Wagner and she has nothing to do with them. They swear on the phone and call all the time! The address they give is fake, on google maps it is a boarded up old building. THEY ARE A SCAM! The 877 number is a cell phone! BEWARE OF THEM!

this my story about this Company Named MONROE & LYELL ARBITRATION.Im doing this so it doesn't HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!.Yes I may or may not have taken out a PAYDAY LOAN with VIPCASHLOANS.They called my work today 5-3-13 and asked for me this is a VIOLATION OF PRIVACY FOR 1.all the facts just don't add up so I did some digging of my own found out that this # ORGINATES in ROCHESTER N.Y and the name MONROE is for MONROE county which is in ROCHESTER N.Y LYELL is for LYELL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION which is ALSO LOCATED IN *ROCHESTER N.Y* Anyways got off the phone with my work and called 877-690-4914 to talk to this(FRAUD) some lady pick up and said MONROE LYELL ARBITRATION how can I help you.I said you called my work about something she asked my name she said you owe 900.00 for a PAYDAY LOAN with VIPCASHLOANS taken out in 2011.I said I was told the debit had been PAID.I asked her name she would not give it all she would tell me was that I owed the 900.00 and I said I live on a fixed income could I make payments she said half up front so 450.00 then she asked again and said they could settle for 600.00 but the only way they would do it was if I would give them a prepaid debit card,credit card or account #.So I played along and said I would have to tell my mom and we would call right back!!!Then I called the Pierce County Sheriffs Office SERVERS DIVISION they looked my name up NO RECORD at all of my name in their system.Then did a google search for them and a lady by the name of TASHA SCOTT *funny thing about this name is THERE is a TASHA SCOTT actress and there is a BLACK GIRL IN TACOMA WASHINGTON by the same name*DIGGING EVEN FURTHER found that MONROE LYELL ARBITRATION tries to look the part as a
