I received a similar call from the # '877-697-5464' on Oct.2nd, and while I rarely pick up calls from '877' numbers, this one was a recorded msg from "Farid Wassef", P.C. candidate for Oakridges-Markham riding.
Apparently, it's the provincial election, that's driving a lot of these random, toll free phone calls.

I have been getting multiple calls per week from this number with a recorded message being left on my voicemail from PC Candidate Farid Wassef's campaign office.
I have called twice now and left messages asking them to remove me from their calling list. Unfortunately according to the "National Do Not Call List" political parties are allowed to harass you:
