They are usually middle-east who hardly speak ENGLISH. They work for a company that has bought old loans for pennies on the dollar, and are trying to collect the money. You should check your states statute of limitations on unpaid loans. In my state it’s 10 years. Anyway if you see this number on your caller ID, do not  answer.

This number has called me numerous times but only will let the phone ring 3 or 4 times, never long enough to be able to leave a message. I have tried to call this number back and I get a recorded unprofessional sounding voice saying "Sorry call cannot be completed"

Call every day 3/4 times a day do not know who they are.

shows up as "? 18776978012" They call every single day to my pre-paid cell phone, which is on the do not call list. If I answer, they don't say anything. Just silence except for the sound of breathing. If I don't answer, they don't leave a message. What do they want??

They call my free GOVT prepaid cell phone!  The govt gave to me coz I make less than the poverty level and couldn't afford no phone at all.  If I didn't live down the street from the libary I wouldn't know what's going on in the worls=d.  But I can read papers and go on internet here for free. I put this number on the do not call list but these guys still call.

These guys need to be shut down.  They call prepaid cell phones issued by the govt to poor folks.  I put the number on do not call list but they still call every day at 8 am and 8 pm.  The first time I answered and I don't know what the guy was saying.  Very thick accent from INdia maybe.  I think he say I owe somebody money and need to give him my credit card info.  But I don't have no credit cards.  Never did.  I gets paid and cashes my check at the grocery store then I pay my bills with money orders.  Everybody gets paid.  The landlady, the light bill, the neighbor that carpools me to work.  They ain't no more bills than that and none of them says I owe any money.  SO I don't answer the calls no more but they still keep calling.

These people or worthless jerks call my number at least 8 times a week and never leave a message. When I answer, nobody says anything. How can I get them from calling?
