I got a text message from 729329 saying to call 877-706-6422 to get my FREE $200 Walmart Gift Voucher. I called the number and it was some guy with a thick Middle Eastern accent. I told him my number and asked him to not call me and stop texting me and he got rude and hung up. I called back about 20 times in a row and hung up each time getting a different person with a thick Middle Eastern accent. Some of them answered the phone, "Are you calling about your Walmart voucher?", others just said Hello.

I called back and talked to someone and they are trying to sell their services of Enterprise Corporation. I couldn't understand exactly what it was. But they want you to pay a one time fee for the shipping and handling.

I got a guy with a strong middle eastern accent as well. He said they are a magazine subcription service and if you accept the "free" ten day trial they send you a $200 walmart gift voucher. I told the guy I was talking to that I didn't feel like getting scammed today, and he asked me if I would prefer to talk to him tomorrow instead! With their limited english skills they make great fun to mess with!

I also just got a message from this number. it had to come from google maps. i used the link on there page to send the mobile download link to my phone. how have you guys stopped it. did you send a text message back to the stop number 20822?

I also just got a text from this number.  It thanked me for going to their site and told me to call this number to get my $200 Walmart card.  I googled the number and came across this.  It told me to text them "STOP2113" to unsubscribe.  I just texted that to the number I got the text from and got this message:

"You have opted-out of PayDay SMS Revenue Alerts & will no longer receive msgs.  Visit www.smsrevenues.com for more info."

I recently recieved a text from 729329. The message thanked me, and requested that I call 877-706-6422 in order to redeem my $200 WallMart gift voucher. I reply texted "STOP" to #729329. an automated message was generated and sent to me via text, immediatley. "You have opted-out of PayDay SMS Revenue Alerts...Visit www.smsrevenues.com for more info." Upon visiting the site, I located and read termination agreements within the "Policy" section of the site. I also found that an email can be sent to opt-out via the "contact" link on the website. Hopefully this will end the harassment.

my son received a text stating he had a 200 walmart gift card for free. they asked for his number on his debit card and he gave it to them and i overheard him and told him to not give his number over the phone and why were they charging shipping and handling if it was free???he said his name was Joey Taylor and his employee number is ASM79537 in a thick indian accent hmmmmmmmm. i got on the phone and the gentlemen with a accent began to talk very rapidly. so rapid i could not understand him. after I hung up they called back repeatedly and i answered and told them to stop calling or i would report them. he said he was going to charge the account and I hope they dont but I know my son should not of given the number out over the phone. I hope they do not empty his bank account. I am so angry that these people are scamming others. I don't want this to happen to anyone else I immediatley got on my computer and typed in the 200 walmart gift card and saw that it was a scam. be careful!!!

I got the same text but my dad got it on his phone for my number..basically because we  have a family plan..my thing is how did i get picked in the first place or how did they get my number?? i rarely go online to purchase anything only from walmart.  The woman had an thick mid-eastern accent and she met her match TOdAY!!! i fussed her out cause she said she was not going to cxl the order!! she said I couldn't get the $200 cause im in Iowa! so i called back spoke with 2 different managers who hung up on me and I called back again and they finally cxled it..hopefully but I am reporting them to the attorney general on monday casue they are horrible!

today i was about to download my pictures from my flashdrive to the walmart photo center. i cancelled it because i didnt want to check out online. A few hours later i received the text 'Hi Nancy( wrong name) we appreciate your loyalty call 877 706 6422to claim FREE $50 walmart gift card! giftcode:974cbc02.TXt STOP2082unsub". I have never received this text before. But im sure the got it when i updated my info on the walmart website. Just to think what would have happened if i used my credit card online!? I believe the walmart website is been hacked. be careful.

i received a call from this number and was hung up on at least 10 times or more. each time i asked to speak with a manager the person i was talking to then stated they were a manager. they kept saying the manager was busy. i called back at least 10 more times waiting to speak with someone besides the people i had already spoke with and finally someone called me back from that number. they are ruse and should never be getting someones cell phone number and trying to scam them. i then went to the www.smsrevenues.com  website and contacted them for  complaint. i dont understand how this happened.

I don't buy into it for a second and I would love to not receive another text. But I remember being cautioned that when you try to opt out of junk email, all you do is confirm to the spammer that they have reached a valid address. Has anyone been receiving repeated messages and calls from these people, or followed the instructions at the bottom of the text to unsubscribe? If you have unsubscribed, have the messages/calls stopped? Have you been contacted by other companies since? Thanks!

I got the same text tonight- got a woman who barely could speak English adn told her she better not call my cell or text again. I am going to contat local authorities and my cell phone company about this matter.

i received a text message at 11:03am stating that i had received a $50 Walmart Gift Card. it told me to call 8777066422 to claim my prize, and when i texted STOP to the number they gave me, i received a text saying that my subscription to SMS Revenues Alerts had been cancelled and i would no longer receive any messages or charges. WHAT CHARGES?? are these people simply taking our money without authorization from us? im tired of these scammers trying to get our hard earned money, especially if they arent getting our approval for it first.

I recieved the messge also stating to claim my walmart gift card.  I texted STOP to the number I was given and I received the message: my subscription to SMS Revenue Alerts had been cancelled and I wold no longer recive any messages or charges. Hopefully they will stop. I plan on going by my cell phone carrier and asking them about it.

I recieved a text in the format of the $50 dollar card. I called the number and asked them how they could even know that I shop at walmart and how did they get my phone number. Then they were asking for my debit card number, which I refused and then explained that only scammers ask for debit card numbers overthe phone. I want to know if anyone knows why they call us? I get that it would make sense to offer a walmart card on account of almost everyone in america shops at walmart, but I'd rather not get scammed.
