Received a call from a number marked as “potential spam“ on my phone. The person made it seem as though they were from the sheriffs department, and in their message, tried to bluff an emergency situation. They left the number 877-709-2402 for a return call. This number is not associated with a sheriffs department. I followed up with a call to the sheriffs department, and they said they would never leave that type of message.

I had same number call me 1-877-709-2402 not from Sheriff's office..just saying they are suing..and important to call back. Suspicious tho that they are claiming to be 2 different things.

The call came from a private number. They gave this call back number 877-709-2402. Said they were the county court house looking for my brother (had his name and age) said they were about to come and get him for court. Would not give company name just said they were working for the court and they know he lives with me and they were coming to get him right now. Well I haven't talked to him in 10 year and I don't even live in that county so I told them to come on over and get him Ill put on a pot of coffee and everything. Then they asked me for my address. I laughed and they hung up.

Yes magaly(?) this is Paul Harris I'm contacting you in regards to a case that's being filed in **** County. Case is not being filed against you it is actually being filed against a ****** rights. I've been instructed to make you aware that your name and address that's provided me the most likely location for her at this point Mrs. Wright does still have a legal right to contact that proceedings office but in the case in order to update her information. However once I cases filed that we no longer be an option. The phone number to the legal department is 877-709-2402. It also states here they do need to provide their file number as well 692607....

SO I DIDN'T CALL, BESIDES MY COUNTY DOES NOT HAVE A 877 NUMBER. Weird!!!

This number keeps calling my mother about my other half and they are filling paperwork in our county. If the call is not returned they'll execute a warrant for her arrest. I told my mother to stop answering the call. They've called her a few times already today. How did they get my mother's phone number and not ours? They left a case number 689882. I hate people that call talking all this noise for nothing, they're just scaring people.

I received this call earlier today , they even tried to call back an second time after leaving this message as well but for someone I used to know. They are phishing.

We’ve been getting this same phone call about my husband. He’s scared to come home thinking something is happening.

At this time i've reached out to you several times over the last couple of days and all correspondence have been ignored. so we're going to go ahead an proceed to forfeit legal rights and have <name> located there at your residence now. <name> still has the legal right to contact our office about this case just so there is no way you can state you didn't have knowledge about this matter. the number is 877-709-2402 and the case number again is <BS#> this is the final legal notification and <name> will be located unless answer otherwise."

total fake call. call 510.383.8600 which is the Alameda County district attorney's office, and they said they will look into it :)

John Green calling about a case being filed in Riverside County. Calling to collect on debt before case goes to court. SCAM! Tried calling company but calls go unanswered.
