So what do I do if I was stupid enough to believe the scam and gave them my card Info and was charged. I had the worst experience.

I have been receiving mail from this same company for about a month.  I finally decided to call the number on the last document that I received in the mail (because each one had a different number as well as a different deadline date).  The Telemarketer went around the bush to tell me what the name of the company was.  He then asked me how long have I had my car and the exact mileage.  I proceeded to tell him that I needed to get the exact mileage on my car just so I can look them up first.  I'm glad I read all of your comments.  Unfortunately, he has my cell phone number.  Should I call back to ask them to leave me alone?

Did yours state that the warning is $2,000 fine, 5 years imprisonment, or both?

Yes... But that is for interfering with the letter's delivery... Which is a federal law for any and all mail, not just this scam letter

Call the number listed on the cc under the charge. Tell them to cancel it. If they don't, call the credit card company to tell them it was a scam and not to allow the company to charge it.  Or finally, can el the card. Comoanies can still push a charge through in a canceled card, but tell the credit card company not to do that.

I too received the same post card twice and I ignored. Third time received a pink doc quoting "This is the last notice" and after so and so date they will not consider my warranty, I felt childish mail (Without a proper company name, but really the mail seem to be real and I too believed until I spoke to them). When I called I can understand clearly its a marketing group by their message and offering strategy. Be cautious before providing your details.
When I asked their company name, they gave some name which I couldn't find any website. Am gonna give them a call to get more details about them rather giving my details - No 18777203786

I recently bought a used car and have had many calls from this phone number -- basically harrassing me to buy an extended warranty.  The letters are the worst, tho.   They make it look like someone from the dept of motor vehicles needs to talk with me ASAP about an urgent matter.

Why dont you just call the number? Are you really that lazy that you cant pick up a phone and do some work for your million dollar class action suite? Typical......
