Correction.  This telephone number is the BUSINESS OFFICE for St Joseph Hospitals Main, East, and Jessamine in Kentucky.  They are not a debt collection agency.  They are legitimately calling to open the lines of communication with patient's that have outstanding balances.  It is a type of soft collection call from the business office directly, not a debt collection agency.  The only way to know that is to accept their calls or verify it with someone inside the hospital.  They'll tell you the same thing.

Called St. Joes and they had never heard of this number. I was a patien there but still have not even been billed for this. Do not give your info as the manager at St. Joes was not even aware of this number.

I got the same call they kept wanting information from me I did not give them any. I told them to mail what ever it they wanted to me.

This is also the billing office for Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

This is not the direct line to the business office it is in fact a third party contracted by the hospital corporate office.  Dont give them any information..... They will shop different options but none of them are to help u as they will say.  

Did not answer as I didn't recognize number, and they did not leave a VM! If someone doesn't leave voicemail I consider that to be shady!

Called and I did not answer as I do not recognize the number. From reading the comments I gather it is either a legitimate collection caller from a hospital in Kentucky, or a scam. I also read an account of where one lady in Louisville was contacted by this number and was sent a collection notice for over $1200. There is an active police report investigation going on into a possible theft of identity on this one.

I have not been to Kentucky in about 30 years, and even then had no medical treatment for anything... sounds scammy to me.

I started getting calls from this number on June 23 and since then I have gotten 6 calls from it.  No one in my family has ever been in the hospital or received any type of medical treatment in Kentucky.  I do not answer calls from numbers that I do not know and I finally bought a call blocking box from Amazon.  Each time it shows up on my caller Id as Toll Free Company.

Left two messages this month asking for two different people

“St. Josephines calling for Jasmin White”

Received two calls today from this number but they never left a VM. I owe no one anything so if they want to call and harass I'll have a ball with theses [***] on the phone. I can waste their time for hours on end.

This number called me and I have never been to the hospital you are referring to !  Try wanted all my information and said I owe an outstanding bill.  I told the St I wanted to speak to their manager and they hung up !  Explain that !!!!

This number like all others, I've communicated that the supposed person they wish to gain money from, is near death stage 4 cancer untreatable, and that they have medicare, QMB as backup to pay all their expenses, PLUS they have funding from Breast cancer and Cancer.org societies to take care of rest, and should be communicated that they tell their client (if they truly have one) to refile accordingly.  They keep calling before 9AM and late hours of night and interrupt the precious sleep of dying patient. They don't care. I block them, but phone system allows it to ring once to show it's a blocked number.

Voicemail left. Robot stated this is a non medical related call please call back. St joeseph. I turned this over to the commonwealth attorney.

Saw missed call on caller ID.  After looking at previous posts, there is no reason for them to call me.  I'm a Montana resident and have never been to a hospital or Dr office in Kentucky

Must be a scam!

This is a valid phone number and is tied to Jewish Hospital, they are calling to discuss collection of a debt that is owed. If you continue to ignore this number your account will land in collections, they are doing us a favor by not sending directly to collections.
