received a call with "no one" there and the a computerized voice said "good bye"

Received a call tonight(6/9) from this number..no message left on answering machine. Will report this number on donotcall.gov.

Got another call on 6/11 from the above number. Will this insanity ever stop?

Think this is a sales call from Verizon Wireless. Had a call on 6/7 and again on 6/11.  Let it go to voicemail both times.  No message, so I called back only to have a voice tell me to dial a different number for billing issues, otherwise stay on the line to speak to a sales representative.

I am getting a call from this number as well and when I pick up it's nothing.  Not dead, just silent.

Number called 6/14. Said "Hello" several times no answer after a couple seconds a "good by"

Number called 06/14. Sais "Hello" several times no answer then a few secounds later recording said "good bye"

Got another call tonight(6/16) from this number. Caller ID said "unavailable". No message left on answering machine. I don't think anyone human is calling..probably an automated machine dialing lists of numbers. Welcome to the 21st century(LOL).

two calls from this number in the last 12 hours.  no message, nothing.

Repeated calls from this #. I've never answered. Been going on for months

Happening the same to me.
It has been going on for over a month.
They keep calling when I am on the phone w/someone else.
They never leave a voicemail.
I never pick up.

It is annoying.

Got several calls from this number and even held on to see who it was, but no on e spoke.

And the calls keep coming. Got another one on 6/29. Phone rang 3x, then nothing. Just machines calling machines...right out of a science fiction movie.

Got my first today June 30th, hope it is the last. No message, nothing on the other end.

Its a sales call from Verizon. Checking to see if you are on the best plan offer to help upgrade phone early before the new every 2.

Been getting calls from this number every evening at about 6pm.  I never answer.  It rings 20x or more before stopping.  Truly annoying.

This is supposedly Verizon sales calling about upgrading your phone, but it took a moment fot=r the person to come through.  I told them I wasn't interested, just got a new phone 2 months ago, and that if Verizon continues to call (this was the fifth call in 3 days) I would go with Sprint, and please remove this number from the list.

Since then, they've called 3x more outside of the 9-5 business hour window.  WIll report, and complain t Verizon.

Just got a call from this number about 5 minutes ago.  I said hello twice and then a mechanical voice said "goodbye".  My suspicion is it's a telemarketer that uses computerized calling to track when someone will answer so they know the time of day when someone might be home to answer the phone.  Haven't idiots like this realized yet that when they do this stuff and finally get through and try to sell me something that all they will get is a nasty reply from me.  Telemarketing is intrusive to a person's sense of peace and for the life of me, I can not understand why it is legal.  Especially when someone has an unlisted phone number that we PAY extra for.

I knew it.  They called with their mechanical voice at 7:35 and I answered so 20 minutes later the phone rang from the same number.  Probably their live person calling back since they thought they had me.  I let voice mail pick up and of course they did not leave a message.  This is 2010, do telemarketers think we are not on to them?  Do they think we are going to talk to them?  Grrrrrr, it's so annoying.
