Grrr!!! Is right, I am getting way too many of these and no one is there... Sure would like to get them to stop!

This is a sales call from Verizon offering a new phone.

I called verizon today to confirm this, and they said yes it is a call from their Special Promotions department.

Have been receiving calls from this number for months.  At least three a day.  At first did not answer.  when I did to try and make it stop there is no one on the line.  How do I make it stop?

I have two missed calls from this number, each one minute apart, on two different days. On August 2, I have missed calls from this number at 2:53 and 2:54 p.m. on August 4 (today) I have missed calls at 8:53 and 8:54 p.m. Given the precision and the pattern, I find the "automated call to determine when you'll answer" scenario plausible, and it also makes sense it would be Verizon. My two-year agreement with them ended over two years ago; I've been month-to-month ever since and thus free to walk away if they piss me off! They haven't yet, though if this is them, I'm going to ask them to stop--and if they don't, I walk. Of course, they're constantly emailing and snail-mailing me to try to tempt me with the new phones I could have if only I'd renew my contract. Meh. Give me an iPhone on the Verizon network with a reasonably priced plan and you might have me hooked.

I'm getting calls from this number all the time. 3-5 times a day. They call during the day and nite. I wish this would stop. I NEVER answer when these morons call. If this company is associated with Verizon its a disgrace. But than again, our "great" american companies no longer have any scruples.
We are known to them as "consumers". No more no less.

they'll continue to call if you hang up or never answer. I used to work for a call center, and whenever someone lets it go to voicemail or hangs up the moment we start talking, we had to recycle the call until it got picked up. Just listen to them, consider their offers and be done with it.

Received several calls from 877-725-7693.  No message left.  I returned the call. It turns out to be a promotional phone call from Verizon Wireless. I requested they take my name off their list and they indicated they would do so. They said it might take up to 30 days.

I get calls from this number frequently and a rep actually answered when I called back - he claimed Verizon thought that my land lime # was a cell phone # and I said "don't call me regardless!!" He says the # will be placed on a do not call list - I'll believe it when I don't hear it.

This call was from Verizon Wireless regarding updating your cell phone capabilities.  The customer service rep. was actually very pleasant and helpful.

Keep getting this call from 877-725-7693. The phone says unavailable and when the answering machine comes on they hang up. I did answer it one time and nobody says anything. They call two to three times a day.

This number keeps calling and no one talks.  I don't want people to call my house unless it is friends or family.  I am on the do not call list

This call is from Verizon, we get them every day all hours.  called number back and spoke to them and had my number removed.  see if this will work.

They have called our number, which is unlisted, and getting very annoying.
We also are on the do not call list and this is really beginning to bother us.
How can we stop these MARKETING CALLS, when we are on a do not call list.

877-725-7693 came in as 800 Service. Did not ring long enough for answering machine. Has called before.

This is a robo-call from somewhere - I got three calls in the space of two minutes on my cell. No voice mail.
