Wow, five posters thinking this is the customer satisfaction website for Tech Support 24x7. (Which is, I see, a non-profit organization. Not sure how that can be.) It's simply amazing how many people posted almost the exact same praise for this company. No, wait, it's not amazing considering they're the EXACT same person!

i also got this call and that email address was given to me in a text message on my phone about 12  hours prior. it was my name, my address and the website you mentioned. no way am i calling or clicking on it.

Call just came in, only rang once so that is a sign it was blocked by one of the scam blockers I subscribe to.  I will so it one better, forward the call back to the number that called or to one of the hundreds of other scammer numbers I have logged.  Love this computerized phone system!  I maintain my own computers, engineering degree has paid off well.

Got 2 calls from them and I called back and got a live person. They gave me the 'your Microsoft isn't working speech' and I told them never to call my phone again. That same night I received 2 more calls from this number, a call from 617-714-0978, and then a 'No Caller ID' call, all with a recorded message about how my Microsoft account is compromised. I guess they didn't like the way I told them not to call back.

Well at least they're honest about one thing....someone outside the country is trying to hack your computer, and it's them.

Just say I'm so glad you called!  I've been looking for someone who can help me with my Macbook!  That should pretty much be the end of that.

Or better yet, just block the calls and don't even bother with the yahoo's.

They called me and told me that my computer that running windows 10 has a virus when I asked them which computer thet couldn't answer. I then told them they were running a scam and they hung up.

Got the same call on my cellphone.  Called 877-729-4278 and they stated that someone outside the US (Russia or China) was trying to access my account via Google, Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Bing.  Did not matter if my operating system was Mac or PC. They claimed to be a Technical Support 24/7 and they tried to get me to access their website www.7kb.us from my PC.  Luckily I have a security application which blocks suspicious websites.  They wanted me to try another website which was also flagged suspicious.  Eventually the Tech said they could not help me, so I replied, then I should not get any more calls from you.  This is not Microsoft/Apple calling?

Keep getting a call claiming they are Microsoft saying someone is trying to access my Microsoft account outside the U.S.

They'll never claim to call from Apple, mainly because they don't have a hack for the Mac OS.  One advantage of the Mac is that viruses are rare, not because they can't be developed, but because Apple only has about 10-15% of the market.  Hackers would rather concentrate their efforts on the 85-90% of PC users who are running Windows.  If you're concerned about viruses and hacks, a Linux OS may be a viable option for your PC, as such issues are also rare.  I have a dual-boot machine that runs both Win10 and Linux Mint.  I use Linux mainly for security, and only switch to Windows for programs that require it.

I really wish someone would put a stop to these calls.  And i wish these India people would get a real job that is actually legitimate.  They have no way of knowing if i have a computer and won't confirm how they got my phone or tell me my microsoft account.  They are rude and count on you to just follow their instructions, which are hard to understand, too.  Microsoft would not call you anyways about this issue.  i hope no one gets taken by these jerks.

I find it extremely annoying that the NSA and FBI can access all our phones whenever they want, yet they'll never step up and do what they're supposed to do with these clowns. It really can't be that difficult to trace back. I kind of feel bad for the people in India that have to make these calls, because a lot of them don't have another way to bring home a paycheck, but the longer this goes on the more and more I resent them. I guess the vicious cycle continues....

I am getting 4-5 calls a day from this number.  I want it stopped.

I recieved a call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft and my computer is being hacked and my computer service will be terminated. Please do what you can to stop these crooks. Their accent is from India. I pray that they repent of their evil deeds and accept The Lord Jesus Christ so they can be delivered from their evil deeds and recieve the blessings God has provided for them!!!

Message said that someone outside the US was using my Microsoft account and my account was being terminated.  I should call this number.  Total SCAM.

Message said that someone outside the US was trying to access my Microsoft account.  I've received this call several time but because it goes to an answering machine, I never have to talk to anyone.  I'm savvy enough to know this is a SCAM.
