You believe correctly. PCH doesn't call, they show up on your doorstep. Nor do you have to pay to receive your prize, which is what they'd tell you if you spoke to them. Block and ignore such calls if you can.

Got a vociemail call saying I won PCH winnings, because due to your subscription with the company and being a persistent customer in our games congratulations you're the newest winner. First off, I have NEVER had a subscription and haven't ever been a persistent customer.  FRAUD ALERT.   Scamers1

Yeah, me too!  Said I get a Silver Mercedes and $7500 a week for life.  Car is supposed to be delivered today.  Says all I have to do is do a form P114 (supposedly for WA state taxes) that number has to do with FIREARMS!  Good Lord do they think people check on things?  Apparently not! LOL

I got the call and then got multiple calls to several numbers I was to call back to for further info when I went to bank to get $4500 using form P114....NOT happening! This form has to do with FIREARMS!  Other calls I received were from #559-483-3488 for a William Hegel, was the claim agent. Then a #516-908-1554 from James Myers, a manager.  Also a call #876-433-9133 and #876-453-5594 both from a James Asher, the director.  The original call was PCH at 877-730-1570.  Been busy today!!!

it was sure wonderful to mess with them today!  Multiple calls from several people by the time the day concluded.  My was it fun!  I did get ahold of FBI and also put in a complaint.  Was even on hold with FBI while I was chatting with the bloody buggers!  There should be a fan club for those of us who venture into this crap! LOL

Oh they tried it on me just a couple of hours ago and even tried to get my husband convinced too (we're both very cynical). They also included 2 other phone numbers 559-483-3488 out of California, and 256-646-2420 out of Alabama. They thought they were slick about including names of prominent pch executives but after a bit of sleuthing and googling they even managed to screw that up. So I'm definitely not taking tomorrow off from work to claim my "prizes" Oh yes and my prize # is also 7718pch LOL.
