As noted by others National Assistance Center for a new debt program as of Sept 2025.  Up to $50,000 assistance.   The government does have a 'NationalAssistanceCenter ' but there is also a 'scamdetector' rating of 45.5 for the nationalassistancecenter.com business website.  Most like the calls are coming from a scammer rather than offering actual government debt assistance.

I’ve gotten the same call as everyone else from multiple numbers all with the same voicemail and callback number. “Hi, this is Mary from the National Assistance Center.  I hope all is well with you.  Please just go ahead and give me a call back at 877-730-1826.  Um, I'm reaching out to let you know that you qualify for up to $50,000 through the alternative debt hardship programs that went into effect in September of 2025.  A lot of people are taking advantage of these programs that are available for you.  So, give me a call and you can speak to me or one of my associates to see which programs will be best for you.  Again, the number is 877-730-1826.  Thank you.”

I got the exact same call as everyone else this morning, only the call came from the number 844-357-9367. I was instructed to call back at 877-730-1826. Also, Mary. When I did a search on the 844 number, nothing came up.

I've also received a phone call from this same number with exactly the same message that everyone else is getting. Mary from the National Assistance Center, just call her back at 877-730-1826 and you could qualify for up to $50,000 from a program that went into effect in September of 2025. You know it's a scam because when have you ever known of anyone to call you offering money to help you out, especially when you've never applied for anything.

Have had two voicemails over the last couple days  from a Mary also, claiming she’s either the National Assistance Center and that I may qualify for $50,000, something about debt relief. The number the call came from was 678-720-5104 and the number left on VM to call is the same everyone here gave: 877-730-1826.

I returned the call. They have my #.
I asked what the Interest would be. They said it would be variable depending on which loan co. Picked up my loan. I told the clown my fico is excellent, but if you gave me the loan I would never pay you back. He said thanks for your honesty. Lol.
    I blocked the number.  ?
