Very pleasant female voice recording asking for location of my wife. Same recording from another number. I tried to return call but no one answered. We blocked both numbers.

Father just called me to warn about this obvious "location and tracking" service for [insert name]  -- and while we were on the phone the same number called ME...looking for me. Again, obviously a scam. Apparently they're hitting all family members, so warn your family.

I want to know who these people are... I work in collections and have knowledge of all fdcpa and related violations. They called my sister and told her they were going to call all my references. As soon as I find out I will update

BRG collection company trying to collect on very old debt. The minute I mentioned that I had filed Bankruptcy they hung up on me. Don't give them any information, They did have the last 4 of my social.

Just got a voice mail from this number attempting to locate me and if I did not call back they would use reference on file to locate me? Did not call them back sounds like scan to me!

I just got a phone call from this number. Recording on message said this message is for and said my name and they were calling for location and tracing efforts. Never specified why they needed to locate and trace me or what company they were for, just that I needed to call them back immediately and if I didn't, the law allowed them to contact all references on file and if I couldn't provide the information, call them back regardless.

They called me, no message left. Didn't return call.

Automated message asking me to press a button to verify my information or else they would contact my references on file. This is a scam call that has been trying to contact me and my roommate for some reason even though  we have blocked all the numbers calling. Do not give these people your information they are probably scammers and frauders.

I just recieved a call from this number minutes ago said the same as all you are saying here. To me they do not seem like a reputable company the fact they did not say where their calling from who or why to me sounds threatening and like a scam. Aviod giving any information to anyone about you unless they can send you paper documents in the mail to you home address. Or verify who they are and what there calling for I am going to be looking into to this further.

I also received a call from this company.  Everything that all of you have mentioned is what was in my voicemail.  Do not give out any of your information.

Got the same voice mail message as everyone stated above last Friday.  If they want information they why don't they tell who they are and what they hell they are doing.

A recording left a message trying to locate and track and will call all references. Also contacted a family member. This must be a scam because the family member they contacted never keeps the same number. I have never use them for a reference and I don't have the phone number to give out. So how in the world that family member is a reference.
