Its a scam, that indian guy is trying to collect money for a unknown debut. its all fake they keep calling my phone. they need to be reported.

I called this number to inquire why they are calling my family n not me. Savannah answered n proceed to try n read me my "rights". When I told her that I was recording the call she got very rude n then asked for my ss  #. When I refused she said ok I will see you in court. Yet they never told me the reason for the calls.

Received a call from this number and someone with an India accent informed me there were legal papers they needed to deliver to me.  I was transferred to a JENNIFER Nunez who claimed I was being sued for a 2016 loan I took out.  They would not provide me with details or even the original debtor.  They asked for my social security number for verification, I told them I would verify with my date of birth.  They then proceeded to call out by social security number.  They claimed I owe $1200 and if not taken care of I would have to pay around $1500 in addition court fees.  I asked for documentation of the debt to be sent to me under Discovery Rules of the Code of Civil Procedures, they refused

"I asked for documentation of the debt to be sent to me under Discovery Rules of the Code of Civil Procedures, they refused"  Well that is not how it works, and it is the Rules of Civil Procedure.  You would be asking for debt validation under the FDCPA, however that request must by law be in writing and sent to them, preferably by certified, return receipt mail.  That would be impossible with the information you have which is nothing more then a name that is probably fake.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Received a message on my phone for a person that I know of but have had no contact with and has never had my phone number. About legal documents ready at the clerk of courts and if not heard from by the end of business, it would be assumed that the address on file was the correct home address to mail them out. My concern was how was this person associated with my number after several years when they never had my number to begin with.

indian guy keeps calling from a blocked number but tells me to call 877-735-3116 about picking up legal documents for someone who used to rent the apartment i live in now. complete scam. wish i knew how they got my number.

I got this exact message today. It was a blocked number, so I let it go to voicemail. The weird thing is that while the person used my actual last name in the message, the first name he provided in the message wasn't me.
