they called me at my job from and unknown number said to call this 877-737-9518 with a case number ,they said they had some legal papers I had to sign for. so I wouldn't have to be served at work so I wouldn't be embarrassed. and I had to call within 1 hour. is this a scam?

Called for my brother about serving legal papers, 2 failed attempts.

Time sensitive matter regarding (said name). To call 877-737-9518 reference case file number KY98961. If do not respond, legal action would continue. Called number and woman answered Culver Consulting and connected me to man who said case manager and name was Joshua Hanson. Said had paperwork regarding litigation, and wanted to verify personal information. Would not discuss with me as I was not the person but a relative, and he needed power of attorney. He knew (name) on paperwork, but wouldn't give anything further. Told him of previous attempt to obtain money with false summons for litigation and criminal complaint was filed, and he wanted to end call claiming he could not discuss it due to federal privacy laws. I told him federal privacy laws only apply to federal litigation and cases, and state laws to all others, and which was it. He opined I was being rude unwarrantedly, and terminated the call.

If you are being served papers they are not going to worn you before they do it.  They would just show up

I received a call from an unknown number  and voicemail message identical to the one the previous poster Dtog described  instructing me to call 8777379518  before legal actions are taken

I received a call from unknown number but left a message on my voicemail and this is what they said “Hi good afternoon my name is Rebecca Carson this is an urgent message intended for _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ you know I a.m. reaching out to you in reference to a complaint _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ forwarded back to my office for reveal _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ if you have questions or concerns to discuss _⁠_ kind of _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ registered against you please reach the firm at 877-737-9522 attached for reference D82317 _⁠_⁠_⁠_ compliance _⁠_ made within the next 24 hours before may be forced to move forward and proceed without your consent be advised of this call has been logged _⁠_ submitted that you have been notified the pending option registered against you…”  wth????
