A guy named Patrick Jones supposedly representing a Meryll Edwards & Associates called my father who is in his 70's telling him he won the New York Lottery a year ago and that his "Law Firm" has been trying to track him down for the $2 million prize he supposedly won.  I hope you will use this information to your benefit and not be scammed into buying into this.

I've received several calls from this number...and haven't answered any of them!  That's why I pay $5.00 a month for caller ID, so it's not a big deal for me since they always have a means around the DNC registry...and will continue calling no matter what!

They have called my number several times, but never leave a message and I won't take calls from unknown numbers during dinner or in the evening. I finally had time to answer the call and a midwestern sounding male voice asked to speak to me by name.  I said "yes, who's calling?" and they promptly hung up. Next time I won't be so polite.

I get calls from this number all week! It's frustrating. All the way up to 8:45 PM.

This is Wells Fargo, or they CLAIM to be.  They can be quite annoying as they have called me 3 times using this number.  The number 877-740-3335 is also theirs, which they have called 7 times.

**FYI** These telemarketers calls from 1-877-740-3334 ,1-877-740-3335 & 1-954-926-2987 are all from Brickell Financial Services Motor Club DBA Road America Club 7300 Corporate Center Dr. ste 601 Miami,Fl 33126 which is the road service company and Trilegiant Corp.who is actually Affinion Publishing LLC 100 Connecticut Ave Norwalk,CT 06850 1-800-876-7787 "ALL GOT OUR INFORMATION FROM WELLS FARGO BANK". This is why they use WELLS FARGO BANKs name so they can get peoples info easier before they tell you who is actually calling or if they ever do the name Wells Fargo goes farther than any telemarketing name nobodies heard of. Just enter these company names in any search engine and you will find numerous complaints and court hearings from several US states they have operated in websites. Wells Fargo Bank sends my underaged son letter's with this telemarketing offer claiming he is a valued customer and he can get a FREE IPod if he signs up for this Road insurance offer, I filed complaints with the BBB/FTC/Dept of consumer affairs on these companies everytime they send my son these letter's. Received a call from 877-740-3334. They did not leave a message.  When I called back, the voice answered "Thank you for calling Wells Fargo.  We recently attempted to contact you regarding a promotion [didn't say what kind of promotion.]  If you wish to opt out, press 1."  When you press 1, you have to enter your phone number.  I didn't leave my phone number, so we'll see what happens.  This is the second call today I've gotten from this number.  This phone number is not listed in any of the Wells Fargo toll free numbers I could find.

Your message said you called and opted out.  Did it work?  If it did, I may try that, too.

WELLS FARGO BANK is selling customers / other peoples information to telemarketers just enter WELLS FARGO BANK TELEMARKETING CALLS in any search engine and see the info given about them giving info to telemaketers. VERY SHADY BUSINESS.

I found information on filing a complaint on the FCC Do-Not-Call web site at the following address. http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/tcpa.html.

I called the number back and listened to the message. It informed that it was from Wells Fargo regarding a promotion. The message instructed to press #1 if not interested. Next message info me to press the #2 if I wished to be removed from the list. I was instructed to enter my ten digit #. I heard a Beep entered my # and informed that it would take five business weeks for my entire information to be removed from their system, then the call ended.  

It is important to log the calls date, time, persons name or mach for complaint process. I am making a log starting today.

I live in the South.  I feel your pain about unwanted telemarketer calls.  But we are not all a bunch of uneducated numbskulls.

I got tired of these calls so I answered and asked what they wanted. They said they were calling on behalf of Wells Fargo and was offering me this great 1.5 million dollar disability insurance. I told them I was not interested, so maybe they will stop. I called Wells Fargo and asked that they stop giving out my number to third party companies.

I keep receiving calls from this number. I have only answered it once and they asked for my deceased father and mother and I simply stated there is no one here by that name and do not call me again. Since then I have continued to get phone calls, usually 3 or 4 times a day. I check the caller ID and don't answer. Sometimes they even request that I return the call. I am on a do not call list and if needed I would file charges regarding them calling my phone number. I'm glad to find out it involves Wells Fargo. I guess it's time to contact them.
