Making calls from 1-877-740-3334 / 1-877-740-3335 /1-877-740-3336 numbers that WELLS FARGO BANK gave customers & non customers info to.

I called the # back and it was an automated message from Wells Fargo asking if I wanted to sign up for a promotional blah blah blah. I was able to opt out and request to be removed from their list.

Want stop calling even after being asked not too.

With in 5 minutes of me listing a complaint of business phone numbers calling and not answering the phone, these clowns call and guess what? They don't answer the phone either. This is not telemarketing if they are unwilling to even answer the phone! This is just out right crank calling and these cowards need to be dragged into the street and publicly flogged by everyone who has been annoyed by them.

Two calls, according to my caller ID/Reject system.  I picked up on the second call, knowing if you dial back, you usually get a busy signal.  Wanted to know who was calling.  Male caller identified himself as Wells Fargo.  I have an account with Wells Fargo mortgage group, that's most likely how they got my name.  My usual response given:  "Sorry, can't take your call, I am in a conference presently and you have reached my business phone."  Also, on suspect calls, I do not identify myself by name until after the calling party has identified themselves.  Caller apologized and call was terminated.  One or two more calls from this number and the number goes into the reject system which intercepts the call on the first ring and advises "You are not authorized to call this number", followed by a hang-up.

Told them person they called isn't here (we never accept unsolicited calls).  Quick hang-up resulted, with no message left.  That confirmed it was a sales pitch of some sort.  Called back and their recorded message says they're Wells Fargo calling to advise us of an opportunity, and would call back.  Also said press 1 if not interested--did that and got instruction to press 1 again if we didn't want to take advantage of their marketing opportunity.  Did so, and recording asked for my number.  Once that was in, their recording said they'd remove us within 5 days but to please allow 30 days for the number to be cleared from all their marketing lists.  Hope it works!

I called back this # 8777743334 which was Wells Fargo and they did have an opt out. Said it should go thru in 5 days but give them 30 days

Wells Fargo telemarketer using AUTOI-DIAL.  Calls several times a week.  Only silence when we answer.  Moved our accts to another Bank, but telemarketers still call.

I received 19 calls in 19 days from this number, sometimes two calls a day.  I also called the number on the caller ID.

The message confirmed it was Wells Fargo with a "special promotion," and then gave instructions on how to remove my number from their call list.  (Same instructions as Miguel gave.)

I did.  Let's see if it works.

Have gotten these calls for at least 6mo, 5-6x day, 7 days/wk. Latest was Global Contact, marketing firm hired by Wells Fargo/WF to sell insurance. After hearing my severe tongue-lashing about their harassment, rep turned me over to a supervisor who heard another rant. Promised to remove my # from list, however warned that Wells Fargo hires lots of mrktg firms to make calls so I have to talk with each/every one and make similar request. Since I have my mortgage with WF, it won't help if I get an unlisted # because WF would give that # out. Just tried calling toll free 1-866-226-7342 Wells Fargo Insurance Srvs in Chicago, but not opened on weekends. Will call on Monday and report back.

I too have been receiving calls from this number for over a month - my husband works nights so while I'm at work during the daytime they would call three to four times even on Sundays up till 8:30pm! The time I finally caught it, the girl asked for my husband by his "given" name and when I said he was still at work, she huffed and hung up on me! I too called this number back and opt'd out -

Numerous calls, sometimes 3 or more per day. I have answered a few times and asked them to stop calling, but that seems to spurn them on to call more often.

Don't know what they want.

Told to take off calling list.  

For E-1's info, call your local police dept when said company fails to take you off the list.  Give them dates company called, who it was you talked to, the time & date of the call & how many time a day or week they call still with all the info & the police will come put a tracer on your phone to get this on permanent record so it can be taken to court & them fined.  This is what my local police dept told me!

Wells Fargo Telemarketing, had to hit #1 then enter my 10 digit  Home phone and then #1 to be removed from 'future marketing attempts'. 5 days to process blagh blagh blagh.

Calls at different times - usually during the evening or early hours. Caller never leaves a message just hangs up.

This number calls 2-3 times a day for a month now. I want to block this number immediately & not wait for 30 days?

At this point you'll need to prove it.

They have now called 8 times today.
