- Tenazz replies to brettmcI've been getting calls from this number as well. I called it back and when it said \i had to wait for a rep I hung up. I thought it might have been virgin calling about payment or something, that's why I called back. But they don't do that, first they text you when your new bill is due then they text you if they don't get it by a certain time. I haven't received that text and my payments are up to date. I didn't even know there were call blocking apps. I'm going to definitely download one, free or not! I wish there was a way to get back at these people.

- Stephanie BellSame thing has been happening to me and I am not even with Virgin Mobile. I am going to tell them that I know this isn't a Virgin mobile number and I will report them to the police if they call back again haha.
- angel| 2 repliespleeeease does anyone know how to get this number to stop phoning me. they have called 8 times every day for 3 days now, it's driving me nuts.
- Sandra replies to Jill| 12 repliesThis number is from the Virgin Mobile "internal" collections dept. Since they upgraded their website this summer, they've been plagued by issues, and problems, and one issue was that some customers wouldn't receive any e-bills anymore- therefore payments were not made. This is their way of collecting payment, before it goes to an 'external ' major collections agency. They have automated calls made to the 'outstanding bill' phone number in question. If an agent is not already occupied, they will come on the line to talk to you when you answer, hello. Because its an automated call, if the collector is already busy, then it becomes a 'dead' call. I spent hours talking to Virgin, and also the collections dept, and finally got my issue all cleared up.
- angelthey called me again as i was typing last message for 9 times today. i just dowloaded a blocklist app for free. we'll see if it works. i suggest trying this if this number is bothering you to.
- courtney| 1 replyI've been getting many calls from this number.
There were many times when I answered I was put directly on hold or there was no reply to "hello".
I finally called Virgin Mobile today and asked them about it.
This IS a Virgin Mobile number. As someone else stated, it is an AUTOMATED number.
I spoke to them on friday stating a payment had been made. When I still got calls from this number today, I called Virgin Mobile again and was told that their system will take the 24 Hours to update, therefore I may continue to get calls until it is updated and the automatic calls are cancelled on my account.
Annoying as f*ck, but not a scam.- Caller: Virgin Mobile Internal Collections Department

- LinThis number calls my bell cell phone all the time... they also said they were from virgin mobile and asked for "john".....The lady was very rude! I asked for them to stop calling my phone because I don't know John and I have no business with Virgin Mobile; she told me to tell John to call them at that number and he could change the contact number at that time, and until then they would be calling. She was very rude and her English was not great. I don't see why she had to be annoying AND a [***] though! NEVER answering that number again!
- Caller: Virgin I guess.
- Call type: Debt collector
- blahI keep getting phone calls from this number. When I answer no one is there. I tried calling back and got nothing. Wtf
- blah againLast night I asked who it was and they said an air duct company, the man on the phone was very rude. I asked how he got my number and he said from a list... I told him it was illegal and to stop calling me and hung up.
- allyson| 2 repliesthis number is still calling me.
they are very aggressive, with their tone and amount of calling.
they didn't give me an agent number, or my customer care number...
they just kept saying very aggressively "when are you going to pay your bill?" "pay your bill right now!" "are you going to pay it today... tomorrow?"
i told them i would contact virgin mobile, and hung up.
an hour later, they called me back AGAIN!
when i call the number back, i get nothing. this is not cool.
1. if this IS virgin mobile - i'm about to break my contract because this is the WORST customer service i've ever had to deal with... i'm a week late on my payment.
2. if this isn't why the [***] is virgin selling our numbers? or how did they get it. and this needs to be stopped... this is harassment!- Caller: Claimed to be Virgin Mobile

- FraisinatI also received a lot of phone calls from that number. Virgin mobile might have our phone number on their list of clients because my husband's son used to be connected with them. From what I understand by reading all your messages, it seems that someone put a hand on a list of clients phone numbers from Virgin mobile and is using it for I don't know what ???
I called Bell (my telephone company) and asked them what to do.
1- If the person calling ask you for personnal information, you can call the police to give them that info.
2- This telephone number belongs to a company attached to 416-348-1800. When I called that number, there was no service.
On our side we will stop answering and if they continue to call us, we might contact the police to know what they can do. - shortyI keep getting calls from this number 877-745-7721 as well , and when i tried calling it back on a landline , i got some guy speaking very quickly in what i think was French.....glad this forum is here , and i do think that it is some identity theft scam or something.....thanks for all the info on here provided by all of you
