- Caller: thats my question
- John Kaufman877-749-0204 has been ringing my cell phone off and on for several months. This started to occur after I registered a domain name at Network Solutions, and purchased web space at Mecca Hosting. There were a number of posts on the web saying they were receiving odd calls after doing business with Network Solutions. I inquired to them about the calls, the denied.
- Caller: ??
- EthanSame as John, the people at this number are harassing me. It's possible that is not Network Solutions and in fact is a fraudulent company that got our information off the the domain registry.
- Caller: Who knows.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- xxxgot my first call from this number today- registered with network solutions a few weeks ago. could be a coincidence, but prob not.
- Theresa| 1 replyNot cool... I too am getting calls from this number after registering a domain name with Network Solutions. It's my cell number (only phone) which I HATE giving out for stuff like that - and this is why!!
- qingStarted getting these calls; also registered a domain with NS about a month ago
- SiscoIf this is not NS as they claim, then they should tighten up access to their information because someone is using it to try and scam money out of NS customers. Also, a scammer might be using NS info about new customers and by access whosis.
- HAYSOOSJust got a call too, registered with NS a couple of weeks ago. I never gave them my cell number so how did they get it?
Has anyone talked to the people that called from this 877 # ? I didn't pick it up, wonder what they are asking for on the other end. - jimadd my name to the growing list of people irritated by 877-749-0204 after registering with Network Solutions
- tomthe smart assed people at Network Solutions are the ones robo-calling to sell you their $9/year privacy package. if you give your phone number when you register, you can never change/hide it without paying.
- EnieSame here-someone is calling my phone over and over. I did recently register with Network Solutions as well. But I just saw that people had that theory here. Not sure what triggered it.
- Caller: Unknown
- MerlieI also registered with Network Solutions. They have called twice in May, then just once today. Has anyone had any success making the calls stop?
- lesleyAnother thoroughly annoyed Network Solutions user. Great business plan: pi$$ off all your customers so they'll never want to do business with you again, and will tell everyone they know to also avoid you. And they pay some MBA to think this stuff up!!!
- Caller: Network Solutions
- AnunemusI also registered a domain with network Solutions, but I also purchased the privacy option, which prevents someone from going to whois and getting my contact info. Despite this, I still receive frequent calls where no one of the other line says anything.
I have an AT&T cell phone and pay $5 for a monthly service that allows me to block numbers. 877-749-0204 is going on that list! - JamesI too received several calls with this phone number and tracked back to Network Solutions, "eworks" product department. After I finally got a person on the line, I let him give me the whole pitch which is for website design up to 5 pages, and focused primary on marketing at a $94.95 monthly rate. The pitch was good, and the product sounded sound. I then call Networks solutions and asked to talk about this with a general description, and I was transferred to the same individual, whose pitch was the same. After I heard my key phrases I wrote down to verify in fact it would be the same person (ie. Nova Scotia where this office is) I stopped him and let him know the deal. He understood, and much is the computer calling system they have that may call empty headsets. Anyhow I did verify it is Network Solutions, and it is their internal call center. Yes I too had a Cell phone and was surprised how they got that. But sales needs to be persistent. Hope this helps. But as I will always say, "Trust, but verify!"
- Caller: Network Solutions: EWorks product
- Call type: Telemarketer
- KelliI pay per minute for my phone so I don't answer their calls. However, they have taken to using different numbers and it is getting really annoying. Wish I could make it stop. And yes, I did register a domain with them also. Think I'll cancel the domain - not worth the hassle.
- MPI registered with NS a few months ago and within days after, I was getting repeated calls from these people either early in the morning (9-10 AM) or in the afternoon. I picked up about half the time and only once was there someone on the other end, I had to go but they said they were from Network Solutions. the calls have started again today despite me registering on the federal DNC site.
- NintoriiSeems like Network Solutions was paid by another company for numbers. Get 3 calls a day from this number, claims they are not Network Solutions the one time I could get an answer from the caller. They call back even after I registered on the DNC.
- Caller: Network Solutions
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JenicitaI am getting so tired of these phone calls! it also happened after I registered a domain name with Network Solutions. No messages left, no answers either.
- Caller: ?
- grantk| 2 repliesI talked to the Network Solutions rep that answered that number and requested to be removed from the outbound call list. He said it would take 48-72 hours. We'll see if it works.
He said their policy is they can call a number twice a day, which I told him is a ridiculous frequency and will [***] countless customers.- Caller: Network Solutions
