Stated I owed for an outstanding ticket in somewhere I do not live!

I received two messages from that same number saying I owed money in Iowa - of course I don't live there and have never been there....thinking this is a scam...

I have been receiving this same call for weeks - haven't been in Iowa in years. She sounds official and she's persistent - glad to hear I'm not the only one getting it - won't call back. Figured if they had my phone number - if it was for real, they'd also know my address.

Received a call today, the first part was garbled and they never identified themselves, but same story as others.  Asking for
me to call 877-751-7115 because I owed on traffic ticket.  My son-in-law said it is a scam and not to call them back.

This is from the City of Davenport's website.  They are legit

You mean the collection agency?  The collection agency is spoofing the Davenport City number.  That's all.  Read the posts.  If the callers do not ID themselves that means they are trying to hide something.  Public agencies send letters;-- they rarely call people cold.

Received a call from a Sarah Murphy with MCOA at 877 751 7115 stating she needed to talk to my daughter. When I called back, she was able to identify me as calling about my daughter. When I asked why, she just told me it was info she couldn't disclose. I'm following the lead of the posts above - which is to say, I'm not calling back or referring this to my daughter.

I received  several calls and messages from mcoa.  The callers said  that it was a business opportunity call. I never called back. Scam

Received two calls saying I should call that phone number - that they are MCOA and it is about a business matter with their office. Doesn't seem legitimate so we won't be calling them.

I received 3 calls from them inside of 10 minutes.  I have not lived in Iowa for 10 years. I have NEVER lived in Davenport Iowa. Don't even know where that is.  I don't owe anyone in Iowa. Had no tickets of any kind there. I am certainly not calling them back based on the other comments.

Received a call from this number stating it was from a flash camera speeding ticket couldn’t tell me how fast I was going, are you kidding me you think I am going to pay for something like that and not give me how fast I was traveling

Iowa is running a scam w/ phony speeding tickets written up as none moving violations.  Because they cannot prove who was driving the vehicle.  So, they issue tickets that do not even go on your record.   Iowa has been sued for this scam already

Her names rebekkah and she is straight trash. It's most definitely a scam and they have called me over the last couple weeks for a non existent claim

They called me today and said her name was Rebecca and that they are following up on an outstanding redlight ticket from 2019 and when I asked them to send me the ticket to my address on file they said I’d have to email them at info@muncoa.com and request it…

Are you kidding me? Why would I email someone to get a bill lol

Left message for my son which I haven't seen or heard from.

This number keeps calling my phone looking for my boyfriend. I have no clue how they got my number but when I call back they are saying he has a ticket that needs to be paid, but will not disclose any information about this matter.

Same issue with calling about outstanding ticket that was in collection from 2 years ago. I said I never received a certified letter and she said well I have your phone number, I just knew the scam and hung up.

Rec. a letter with vague info.  Said a red light violation in Liberty township. Have no clue which liberty township is and it has the name listed as MCOA and the legit goes by MCA. GEtting scary when you cant tell the scam from a real violation.

This number called me 4 times in the span of 30 mins. When I finally answered they said that I owed $275 for a speeding ticket that I never received in the mail. I got ahold of the BMV, and as I thought, no ticket. This number is a scam.
