Calling on cell phone. Blocked number. Losers.

Unknown caller, so didn't answer.  Left no message , so probably telemarketing scum.  Saw complaints here, so added to call block list.

my mistake for answering - no one on the other end. My guess is this is a fishing call to see if it's valid number. While I've blocked it on my mobile phone, now they can continue to use other bogus numbers to call.

I second this motion! If we can get rid of door-to-door solicitors, we should be able to stop these junk calls too!

Scammer/Telemarketer still touting the tired old lower credit card interest rate scam. CID showed "TOLL FREE CALL"

The calls are coming from outside the country, most likely from India. The US can do nothing and won't do anything. These are all just Robocalls trying to find live/active lines and when one is found, it puts your phone a list that is then sold to other scammers.

Best advice, change your voicemail message to the sound of a dial-up modem. The modem connection sound will sometimes make a robocall kick back as it believes that it has not found an actual persons phone number. Though doing so may keep you from getting calls that you want to get as people will they dialed the number in error.

I received a call from 877-751-8860 today, but I did not answer.  I received a letter in the mail yesterday and some had tried to get a credit card in my name, but I was told that they could not pass security questions. I called the number to find out what was going on. They reported as fraud. I did not reveal any details of myself. It's a lot of scamming going on.

They called my phone and did not leave a message. Shady practice.

Don't call them back because it is a scam and all you do is validate that it is a good number
