It was a gentleman with an Indian accent.
They wanted my to go over my wellness program.
I said, I have my wellness through my office, through you all.
I don't need to go over it with you over the phone.

Called the number back & got an automated system to tell me about a "new benefit" with my coverage.
I kept going to see what it was.
Got a foreigner, with trouble speaking clear English, telling me that a diabetes wellness benefit was available to me...they just needed my name and birth date. That was the red flag for me & I told her I wasn't interested and hung up.

This is United Health Care calling to talk to you about your workplace benefits. Not a scam.

Got the call also, I don't even have united health care insurance.

I got this call claiming to be United Healthcare.  If you have United Healthcare, and want to be safe, call the number on your benefit card and ask what's up.  I learned when I did this that you can ask to be put on their do-not-call list so you don't get any calls in the future.

Actually, it is a scam. After receiving 4 calls from them I called United Health Care and they claimed it was not them and they have no noted on my account that they tried to reach me. They told me to block the number and that they will report it.

When I called UHC they claimed it was not them and that there were no notes on my account stating that anyone would have called.

Interesting that they called my Google voice number that I do not use for anything other than junk, drawings, and miscellaneous items that will likely sell my information.  I work for UHG and none of my information uses my Google voice number.  I cannot believe this is a real call.  I echo what UHC Member said about call the number on your benefit card and ask what's up.
