I did, too. The message said it was Incentives International (I think). Supposedly, me or my spouse entered a contest and won a free trip to anywhere in the continental U.S., a three days/two nights stay at a Marriott, a free dinner to either Olive Garden or Bahama Breeze and $150 gas card. Had to call back w/in 24 hours to redeem the prize. At the end, she said it wasn't a time share. The woman who left the message sounded really nice (and almost real), but she never said my actual name. Seems very random.
Anyone else get this?

I received this call as well with the same promotional package... Round trip tickets to anywhere in the country sounds enticing, I am going to call back in a little while and pry a little bit more, will post an update.

always some type of condition to go along with these. best case scenario is you have to attend some type of sales presentation with no obligation to buy. some of these are actually quite a great deal, especially time shares for people who can say no or have bad credit.

heres the deal  you need to be married, over 28yrs old, proof you are married and living together and income of over 45,000 and you need to pick up the package in person at a chicago suburb travel agency who will try to get you to buy a vacation package. no obligation, awesome deal if you have the ability to say no, or as long as you dont buy an over priced vacation package from them. who knows, maybe they have great deals too.

I got that call to. what is going on i wonder? like all of you i missed a call but got a voicemail. who's doing this and why. I am about to listen to the message.

I or someone in my family entered me into some drawing, it seems, for a vacation package. Sound quality sounds like a voice rather than a recording, but should be a recording since the speech doesn't even falter at interruptions.
My family didn't enter anything. They don't even have the number I was called on, and those who DO have the number don't have enough of my information to enter anything. I detest these scams.

I just got a call and ignored it... It was a package deal again. Roundtrip tickets anywhere to where I want...How did whoever this is get my number that is what I would like to know.

Our office phone hasn't stopped all morning -- (877) 765-1960 has called and left 51 messages, and it's only noon.

My voicemail was a from a travel company called "Central Reservations" but it was for the same deal. A trip for me and my spouse to any major city in the continental US (airfare, marriott hotel, and dinner at either Olive Garden or Bahama Breezes). It did state in the voicemail no purchase necessary and no time share sales pitch involved. Says I entered a contest last year and now I've won, I think she's talking about a card I filled out 3 years ago at an event at the Rosemont Convention Center. They call a couple times a year.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone, telling me my name was drawn.  Except I haven't entered a contest or sweepstakes in at least 15 years.  At the end of the pitch they tell you to press 1 to be connected, or 2 to stop further calls, which I did.

Please stop the phone calls, we received at least 100 yesterday and have already received 3 this morning.

Getting tons of these calls.....found the owner of the Number 877-765-1960, is from a company called CommPartners Connect, based in Las Vegas, NV. thier direct line is 877-297-0926 ext 2255.....when i spoke to them they said they sympathize, however the only way to stop the calling is to file a police report.

Checked further into this....the company behind 877-765-1960 is "Travel Network". also goes under other names such as United Travel Networks, or Global. they are at 1935 Shermer Road Northbrook, IL. Suite 100 847-205-0725.
i called the number and it just rang to a voicemail message.

Rapidly speaking, slurring woman presenting herself as a "Mary" called and said some ticket filled out by me or a family member was pulled and I won a trip to anywhere in the lower 48. Didn't say my name, so I figure the whole "pulled ticket" thing is a lie. "Mary" could barely articulate simple words, like "airport" and was of questionable sobriety.

Total scam. Don't waste time calling these dopes back.

I received a call from this number about ten minutes ago. I realized two things; One, this is a clever way to get a person to call back a bill collector. Two, I will never win anything in my life because I am so untrusting of this nonsense.
At any rate, when you look up 'Central Reservations' online you will find a small company based in Washington. They have the following message on their website:


Over the past few weeks we have been receiving a number of phone calls from people who say that an organization calling themselves "Central Reservations" has left a message on their answering machine telling them that they won a free cruise or some other free prize. The return phone number left in the message never works. These messages are being left in multiple states.

We are not making these phone calls. In fact, we never make any unsolicited calls of any kind. Unfortunately, we have no idea who is leaving these messages, but to the best of our knowledge it's a scam and we recommend caution.

Our company is a small, family-owned and operated business in Washington State that was originally founded in 1982. We assist people in finding lodging in the Methow Valley, Leavenworth, and Stevens Pass areas of Washington State. We do not conduct business outside of this state.

If you received one of these answering machine messages, and happened to discover our website after doing a web search for "Central Reservations", please rest assured that we did not call you.

Just got a call from these chumps also.  the message seemed to just repeat over and over when you kept pressing 1.  I hung up thinking that maybe it was one of those scams where they have you punch in a series of numbers "to test the line" and then they have access to your phone for long distance.

OK so I just got a call from this number, I'm actually the guy that entered the 'Nice One" comment above.  At first I thought it was just some telemarketing, timeshare type ploy.  You get two options on the call, press 1 to get the details, press 2 to stop receiving these calls.  I pressed 1 once and the same message just repeated.  I assumed if I kept pressing 1 that it would either just repeat the message again or like I said previously, it was one of those long distance scams so I hung up, never pressed 2.  I researched the number a little further and this same number was previously tied to a company called LuvSMS.  DOH!  This appears to be one of those scams where you are signing up for a premium SMS service where they will put a reoccurring charge of $9.95 on your cell bill each month.  I am assuming at this point that by pressing 1, I have inadvertently signed up for some crap SMS service.  Either that or option 2 is what signs you up as most people would think "I don't want this spam, stop calling me <presses 2>" and at that point you are signed up, this is why option 1 just repeats over and over until you get frustrated and press 2 and voila!  You're now billed.  Just a hunch.  Anyway I called my cell carrier and no charges appear just yet but I had them put a warning on the account regarding the call so they can flag any SMS charges and I have a case for a dispute if the charges ever do show up.  I'm sure I'll see within the next two billing cycles.  I suggest anyone reading this does the same and pays attention to their cell bill for a while, especially if you have any sort of auto-pay feature set up for your account.
