Trying to remove spyware adware

This isn't a computer advice site.

Called, they insist they work for MSN, want 300.00 to clean your computer.  Very insistent, advise them I called MSN they don't know who this company is.  SCAM.

I click on a hyperlink and I got a full page popup that urge me to call that number (877-765-2540) that my PC has a virus. So calling that number person ask me to download a file that will give him a remote connection to check my PC for virus scanning. Offcource it is a fishing scam! I was keep telling him that my antivirus will not allow me to download his software. I ask his what is the price for getting rid of my “virus” the price is $300. I told him that I do not have that kina money ‘I’m a student” I sad hi told it’s no problem they have student discount too. Yea $250 for a student lol.  Scam!

Messages appear randomly, several times a day, urging to call this MS number.  Do not fall for this.  Go to your computer shop and have it removed.
