Call came from 423-822-2465 and told to call 877-766-9481. Is this CVS CAREMART

SCAM.  A new one.  They claim they are from CVS CAREMART.  And that I have a presciption that is overdue.
I don't even have an account at CVS.  I have never bought a prescription from them.  I have an account with Walgreens.
THey are just trying to get my personal information to steal my identity. DIE YOU SCAMMERS.

877-766-9481    Said they were going to help me with expired prescriptions.

But I am not in that state.........................   BIG SPAM

This call got through my spam call-blocking app & left a robomessage.  Although CVS Caremark does administer my Medicare drug plan, and I do have one scrip that’s overdue, I think that anything resembling a robocall — including a robo message — is a stupid way to contact seniors who have been the target of so many scams.

This call requested my return call to 1877 769481  with 6371308. Same warning that I have an over due script.  CVS is not my pharmacy, so I looked up the number and came here to see the reviews.  Yep..a scam! .  Thank you everyone!

The company and the number may be valid but that doesn't mean scammers aren't spoofing the number.

Same robo message as everyone else re: overdue Rx. Started to call even though I only got my flu shot there. Instead checked out number. Thank for the heads-up! Another one bites the dust!

Scam.  Never dealt with CVS ever.

Thanks everyone for the above information.  I thought it may be a scam.  I don't have any prescriptions at CVS.  Boy, what they won't try to get your information.  Needless to say, I did not call them back.

No call registered in my call log, but was able to leave a msg stating they were CVS Caremark regarding an overdue prescription.  I have never used CVS Pharmacy.  If this is a legit call, then it should show in my call history.  I will be calling the Attorney General's Ofc regarding this type of call.  Might be able to report to FCC as well.

Same as others.  Don't use CVS  Caremark.  Figured it to be a scam.

Exactly like the others.  Caller was male voice, and sounded professional.  Only problem was that I have never purchased anything from CVS Caremark, and return area phone I.D. said "Tennessee".  I did not call their 1-877-766-9481 number back.   (Wife and I are both in our mid-70s, but apparently still a wee bit too sharp for them).

Said they were CVS Caremart (or something similar).  We have a relative dying from cancer whom we are helping.  Nearly fell for it.  These people should die a horrible death.

They called and left this as a call back number. I don't fill prescription at CVS, but message was for to me specifically, first and last name. Red flags galore ... Also, who has a 7 digit extension # ?

Received the same call. Recorded message.  They even knew my name.  I called the number back just to see what would happen.  I just got on Medicare and got some promo info from my Part D provider wanting me to use CVS.  I'm not sure this is not a legitimate call after researching it, but it's a damn stupid way to look legitimate.  I still recommend hanging up on them, but I'm not sure it's a scam.

Lo interesante es que dicen mi nombre. ...pero...nunca he hecho compras mi dejado recetas en CVS. No siquiera he visitado esa farmacia ya que las que hay son muy distantes de mi residencia.

Phone call came in on my cell phone. I rejected it, but they left a voice mail. I decided to call them back, hoping to get a human, but it was the same robot voice. It's Care MARK not Care Mart. Care Mark through CVS. They want me to renew a prescription, I do not fill my prescriptions at CVS, I dislike CVS! This continues, I'm taking this to the Michigan Attorney General because she is working to stop robocalls!

David - please be careful with Medicare. This call from CVS IS a scam or spam whatever, but it's not legitimate! I've been on Medicare for 3 years and still get this garbage. Don't answer any postcards you get in the mail, unless they're from Medicare.gov - any other .edu, .com, .org are NOT Medicare. Medicare stuff comes from Medicare.gov ok? Please just be extra careful. :)
