These people are rude and nasty even after being told that they had the wrong number..They are a collection agency and should not even be in business!

Canned voice says hello then wait for an important call. On National Do not Call List.

I believe this number is associated with AT&T.  I've been getting bills and phone calls saying I'm in default.  Over what?  I don't subscribe to their service and don't like them at all.  They're ruthless.  I found out that they ae "slamming" me and forcing me to use their services.  I have my own long distance service.  This is a scam.  Cox filed a Federal complaint against them for me.  Now I'm trying to get $362 back.  Good luck to me!

Wow! Thanks for the info. They are ruthless. This in my opinion is an elaborate scam. They called me for months claiming to be AT&T and saying I owe $30. I have gone to ATT in person and owe them nothing, I have never had an account with ATT. Then they say they are going to collections. Thus, this number is now calling me. COX says it is a scam. I owe nothing. But they are so relentless, they make you second guess yourself. You are the only person I have found online that has had a similar experience.

I Get a phone call 4 or 5 days a week with a recording that says CALL MR. ADAMS BACK TODAY at this number (877-769-7488). I called the number back today 6-25-09 and told them that I do not want any more phone calls from them and to remove my phone number. A women said that they were NCO Collection Agency and that they were after a debt I owed with Verizon cell phone and that she would remove my number.

N.C.O. calls almost every day and I can't block the call. They won't take me off of the calling list. If I don't answer, they just fill up my answering machine.

we have been getting calls from these ppl everyday. and we just reported it to National Do Not Call Registry. hoping that it wont bother us anymore

I Got a call today from NCO Financial System claiming that I owe money to someone - I don't. 'The message states that I'm now in
Debt and they are attempting to collect this debt the recorded message states that the caller named Sheryl Penn and she left her # and ask to call back with the I.D. number which was not provided'. I called the number and asked what that call was about, and of course they want to know my name - I declined just giving them the business name and the phone number. They didn't have any information about me what-so-ever, The woman suggest about disconnected phone number, I told her that i have the same phone for the last 20 years. I think that might be related to Verizon trying to collect money. I got my refund money from them when I switched to VOIP service and never looked back.
This is a Scam seems to me, but I'll call Sheryl and try to see if she has anything to offer after all she's the supervisor in that joint. Stay tune!
P.S. she'd used unlisted number when she called me - go figure.
