- StevenThis seems to be a scam. Call was marked 'anonymous' but left their number in a message. Said he was 'Charles' from 'Due process services', calling for someone else. Called them back, no company name was mentioned, just some computerised voice asking to leave a message, which I didn't. When I looked up the number on google it seemed to be owned by a locksmith in California.

- Peg| 2 repliesI received 2 voice-mails from a private number on my cell phone from Charles from due processing services: "looking to serve a William Mullen with papers to present in court and will be showing up at place of business/work within 24-48 hours. If your need to complain call the filing party at 877-772-9684."
I called the # back and got a computerized voicemail stating "the person you are trying to reach is on the phone, please leave a message."
I left a message with my phone # threatening to stop calling me or I will see that my attorney press charges for harrassment.
I now have received a voicemail from a lady possibly named April (hard to understand as call is broken up) calling back to "get to the bottom of this" and to contact her back on her direct line of 585-445-3311.
I contact the above number and receive the same computerized voice-mail of "the person you are trying to reach is on the phone, please leave a message."
I left a message only with my phone # to contact me back. I plan to get to the bottom this!- Caller: Unavailable/Private Caller
- blop replies to Peg| 1 replyWife got a call from Marshall Carson from "Due Processing Services" this morning. Number shows as unknown. He left a message indicating they were going to summons her for debt payment within 24 to 48 hours. She called back and was provided a number for the "law firm": (585) 267-5253. She called the "law firm" and was told she owed money on an old, dead account from 2006. She Googled the credit card company and called their number, and the account did once exist and apparently was sent to collections years ago. The "law firm" claimed the last payment was 2010, which appears beyond CA's statute of limitations.
We have no knowledge or memory of this account. This appears to be a fraudulent attempt to collect on so-called "zombie debt." - Pissed-In-Indiana replies to blopI might be temped to call the legit credit card company back and find out when a payment was last made, when it was sent to collections, what was the balance and what collections company it was sent to.
- taraDue process services called me today 11/4/15 and a Charles Newton left a message saying that I would be serviced at my employment or home in 24-48 hrs and left the 1-877-772-9684. Kristin Clark ( who was rude) stated that my case came from HSBC Auto Finance for a GM Safari that was financed back in 2006. She refused to give me the companies number as well as her supervisor. I googled HSBC and they had no knowledge of this account. I called Due Process back and confronted them with the information and that is when they said I was used a cosigner on this car and if I paid them $1100 they would have my name removed as a cosigner. I never authorized my identiy to be used as a cosigner so if this was a legit claim then it was illegal. I contacted my attorney and he (Brent Wootton) advised me ignore that it was a fishing scam to get my banking information. These people are pathetic!
