Seems to be a gimmick

i got a text from 7754009770 sayin i won a gift card and to call the number 877 774 5739 to claim it. So curious i called it and the guy sounded foreign and was hard to understand and when i asked what the giftcard was for he said because i had answered a survey which i never do. He said i would get a 100 gift card to walmart and 125 gift card for gas but i have to pay shipping and handling. i said no thanks, i dont want the gift card n the he just hung up. I am convinced it was a scam
