Well I will not be upset if they are only call my house but this is my freanking cell phone come on people!! and 1 mins a part so i have to pick up and the women on the line can't even pronouce my name right!! funny ha get a real job people!!!!

They have called me two times, both early in morning.  I checked their number and SecurTek Head Office came up.  They are not trying to hide who they are.  I called them and told them what had happened, Our number was on someones (they gave me a first name) call ist for their alarm system, I asked them to remove me as I did no know the person or at least anyone by that name who would have me on their alarm list.  They said they would. Time will tell.

This is the company that monitors our home alarm - they took over from Scott Security in about 2013.  It's a legit company, and when they called me, there was an alarm going off in my house.

If that is true ... if you knew who called ... why did you search the web for that phone number?

Got this call on my cellphone, did not answer as I don't know the number. Found the same number on my land line missed call list when I came home. Call back. It is SecurTek, my alarm monitoring company. They want me to have a regular test on my alarm system, which I did once a few months ago. So not a scam. You may not answer if your alarm system is not monitored by them though.
Sorry that its my bad habit not to remember phone numbers that are not used frequently. I will put it on my cell contact list as I am on the person to inform list when anything happened to my house when I am out.

Call came in while I was out.  Not sure why an alarm company would call since I don't have an alarm.

It's the first time I've received a call from this number.  If they call when I am home I will post more information after talking to them.

Great point Slim. If he knew who they are, why would he search it up on the web and introduce this company to everyone? something doesn't smell right~

Got a call from this number last night on my cell phone - i was outside and my phone inside. I checked the messages this morning - it was from Monitoring Stn reporting a fire alarm had gone off at my sisters house, which it had. So quite legit. I wish I'd answered it to avoid a a response from the fire department. It was a false alarm (glitch in new system) - no charge this time but next is a $1500 fine:(

This recording claims that suspicious activity has taken place on my Social Security account and that my number will be permanently voided. They would like me to stay on the line and talk to a representative. I have heard that legitimate  communications from governments agencies are only handle by the postal service and do not come via phone calls. Can anyone verify this?
