Text message, "Fortiva Alert: Fortiva credit card payment of $25.00 is due"; "click link to make payment"? Never heard of them, and have never used cell phone to authorize any payments to anybody.

Another Fortiva Alert? Never heard of them, but seems they are trying to bait me to log onto their website.

Received a text message from Fortiva stating I missed my credit card payment.  I've never heard of Fortiva.

Yep, got 2 similar texts -- the first said my payment was about to be withdrawn, the next said payment was overdue and to click on their link. Seems like a scam to me as I've never heard of this company.

Why isn't the government aggressively pursuing these scammers? I feel like it would be so easy to get sucked in.

What did you pay "400 dollars" for?  Why do you think that this website or anyone on it can help you with your password problems?  Maybe you should contact that company directly using the number on the back of your card?

I copied and called the number, and it just says "Thank you for calling account services. Please enter your social security number." .... Yeah ... No

Got a text that saied Welcome to your Fortiva Retail Credit's Home Depot account. Learn more [website link] . STOP to opt out I called and an a tipical indian guy answerd and I told them that I never heard of fortiva before and told me that my husband should call (i don't have a husband :/) should I be worried?

I'm not sure why you didn't simply call the phone number listed on their website.  You must have told him something that you are worried about so why didn't you mention it in your post?

No, in fact as soon as they saied "can I have your name please" I hanged up also that he was not profesional as he was just stuttering
