Bot call from 898-894-5563 (probably a fake CID).  

Prerecorded message (the first part was cutoff) indicating that they had found a solution as I am only making the minimum payments on my credit card (I don't carry a credit card balance, so it was easy for me to recognize this as a cold call where they have no real information on me). Requested callback before 10 pm to 877-786-0934

Called was to my AT&T cel.  I filed a complaint with the FCC online.

I got the same voicemail while I was at work.  It is a recording which is why it cut some of the message off.  I know that this is a scam because I don't even own, nor have I ever owned a credit card of any kind!

Yea I got that call too, but when i look in my "missed calls" the number is 989-631-7668. Stupid people.

Becky! Same here! Got the number (989) 631-7668 with the same 877 callback and same recorded message at 6 p.m. on 1/5/2011. Actually sounded like a real voicemail though, not recorded, although I knew it was recorded. Here is the Google Voice transcription, which varies slightly from the other one that was posted:

Hi guys, this is Kerry green here. We spoke on the phone last week about possibly trying to lower your interest rates, reducing your monthly payments on your credit card so I want to get back and let you know that I did find a solution. So we've got a program that can lower your interest rates to as low as 1.5% and possibly put your monthly payment in half and see if you are only making the minimum payments that would be great opportunity for you. This'll be my last courtesy call, so please give me a ring today. 1(877) 786-0934 I'm at the toll free number again. It's (877) 786-0934 and I'll be in the office until 10 PM eastern. Thanks.

I got a message from this number 1877-786-0934, from a girl, like a college student or so, i have noooo idea what is that about...any comments?

Yeah, I just checked my messages and found out that I got a call from this random number that I didn't recognize, so I listened to the meassage and it was from this Terry Greene woman who I had never heard of before. It sounded like a real message saying that "we had talked last week about lowering my credit/intrest rates and she had found a solution to the problem" and she said that this would be great for me because  only making the minimum payments. Mind you, I don't have a credit card or intrest rates yet because im too young. I thought that it was just a wrong number or something so I called back to say that they had the wrong person and they might want to try a different number, and when I asked for Terry Greene they conveniently said that she wasnt there, and they insisted that I give them my phone number so that I could leave a message and she would know what number to call me back on. Then a few minutes later they called again with the exact same message. Just then, I realized something, and that was that they had called me before in November of 2010, but it was a different woman who also claimed that she was Terry Greene, but I know that it wasnt the same person because this women had an accent that I couldnt quite make out.

If anyone gets one of these messages, dont call the number back because they will steal your number and then sell it to other fraud/tellermarketing companies so they can call you. I have no idea how, but Im going to find a way to report this number
