I was checking my account to see if a check had posted and i noticed a debit coming out of my account today for $30.  I called my bank and they gave me the # to these direct funds people.  I call and the woman verified ALL my info, email, physical address,EVERYTHING...and said i applied for a payday loan on 9.12.11.  She said that they were not the lender but a company that finds loans for people and that the $30.00 was their processing fee! I told her i have NEVER applied for this loan. She then tries to sell me this loan story by saying why wouldn't i take advantage of the opportunity. At that point i knew this has to be a scam other than the fact that i never approved this transaction. THEN i asked which payday loan company the loan was approved for and how much was the loan.  She stated that they CANNOT give out that information! HA! She said that after the processing fee clears, i will be recieving a email from a loan company in the next 30 days for my guaranteed loan that i never applied for.  I told her and her supervisor "SOMDI" that i was calling the BBB and going down to my bank to stop this transaction from taking place. They were so appologetic but of course they can't stop the transaction from their side. This is some Bull$h!t!!! After i hang up, Somdi calls my number back from this #813-421-7390, and leaves a msg stating ANOTHER person's name, saying that i will be recieving a refund back within the next 30days.  Go ahead cause they are NOT getting the initial $30 either.

This just happened to me today.  You obviously are an idiot if you think all of these posts are from people that signed up for a payday loan and now we're whining about it!!  I DID NOT sign up for a payday loan and they don't even have my correct address!!  I was on the phone for 30 minutes with them and then was disconnected, I did finally get back thru to them. They actually tried to tell me that perhaps someone else in my household signed up for the loan....I said yeah, my 2 chihuahua dogs are very proficient on the internet!!  IDIOTS!!!   I have since called my bank they are filing an ACH dispute and said this is obviously a problem!  You can bet I will be watching my account daily to look for any further charges by this fraudulent company!!!

I went to my bank and told them (my bank) it was a fraudulent charge.  I signed a affidavit and the funds were back in my account the next day.  I did notice a string of calls from the number that was on my online bank statement (that I check online daily for unusual activity) 877-786-4120.  I have blocked their number so it goes straight to voice mail, and they have not left any messages.  Based on the posts here, I'm assuming it's a payday loan scam.  I didn't take out a payday loan, but am a bit concerned that they got my bank routing number and account number and were able to initiate a debit.    I'm a business owner and advertise, so my office phone is all over the Internet, but they also have my mobile phone number and have called it.  They must be stealing information from a legitimate company.

Same exact thing. I saw it on my bank statement. They are telling me I applied for a payday loan and services on 09/16/11.  She said the only thing she could do was refund me 10 of the 30$ they took out. Mind you, I was 150 miles away from 6am-10pm on the day they said I applied.  I call [***].  This is ignorant. I will be dealing with my attorney general and the ftc.

This is the third time they got me and I had to pay $38.00 stop payment fee to my bank for a charge I did not give permission to withdraw. My bank had the audacity to say that it was listed as an verbal agreement. WHAT! thats so stupid and untrue. Going to my bank and either they are going to do something or I am closing my account after 20 + years. Don't understand why the banks are not protecting us better than this.....

I got up this morning to check my account and guess what I see? A 30.00 withdrawl that I have never authorized. I am in the process of getting my bank to give me the money back but dang, the person who answered the phone when I called the 877 number has such un-clear english that I could not understand them and hung up. Good luck all in getting your money back.
