in one day they have called at least 6 times and there is a private number ,private name that calls immediately after at east three of these calls and i will not answer any call that says private number or caller because i do not know who it is and i have a bell answering service and these people do not leave a message.

they called my mom.
and told her that i was apparently supposed to hangout with them.

877-786-4567 calles me all the time, today (sept1/09) called me 4 times in less then 2 hours. I finally called it back, the company is SunMEdia, trying to sell newspaper subscribtions, i just called it back spoke with customer service and asked them to remove my phone number from their list, they said no problem. Weither they will or not is another question but atleast it's an option

another annoying call - when will they stop - there must be a better way to make a living than by bugging others in the privacy of our homes...it makes me so mad = they always call at meal time...they know when to call - I must make a mental note to ignore these calls - that's why i have caller id - but for some reason I cannot let a phone ring - they count on people like me...

They called at about 7:30 pm. There was no  one on the other end and when I spoke everything had an echo. Then they hung up.unknown Name

I've been receiving calls from this number for about the last two weeks.  Thank you Prudence (1 Sept posting).  You're right - a company called Sun Media.  I spoke with a customer service representative and she told me that she placed me on their "do not call" list.

They call me almost every hour.  This is harrassment so now that I have the name of the caller as provided by a couple of you good people I am going to call the police tomorrow and see what if anything they will do about this.  It should not be our obligation to contact these people and ask them to stop calling and harrassing us!!I'm sure there are laws even for telemarketing.  Thanks for the info on the company folks.  

One more thing... If all of us were to continually call the police everytime we get a call from this company then maybe the police will move quickly on this.  Hope all of you make the call too!!!!!!!  Thanks.

I got  a few calls from this number I also do not answer no name or private number calls and they have been doing this for a while about once a week.glad to know that im not the only one.

I'm on Primus and they have a call blocking system. Even though this number was on the call display, the Primus system couldn't identify the number, which it normally can. Next time I'll answer and tell them to take me off their list.

Got a call from this number, and they just asked if we got last week's flyers. We said yes, and that was it. *shrug*

These are just 2011 calls I've received they seem to get the number reassigned  to other mail order telemarketer scams on a regular basis.

this number just keeps calling and calling and calling.  I do not answer toll free numbers because 99% of the time they are telemarketers of some kind.

in the last week they must have called me 20-30 times.  i deleted a bunch from my call display before i got curious about who this telephone spammer was, so started looking on the internet for reverse look-ups for toll free but could not find out anything.  then i just input the phone number itself and got to this page.  is there ANY way to stop them from calling???

It`s a shell game Sun Media is owned by Rogers and you have a Rogers cell phone.. I wonder if they are spamming us with these calls to bring in more cash on our outrageous cell phone bills.

April 2010  I called them back and customer service marked our number as do not call.   We'll see.

For your info Sun Media and Rogers have nothing to do with one another.  Sun Media is a part of Quebecor Media fyi.
