Received a call from this number asking if I had received my weekly flyers, seems they are having delivery issues since I have not received any in weeks.

Second time I get these calls. We recognize the number and the"private number" and just hang up

This is the number from The Calgary Sun newspaper. I recently subscribed to receiving the news paper. They were checking if my first paper arrived. They left a short automated message.

Just receive a call from this number, didnt answer have a ID caller, never answer when I dont know the number, so dont waste your time to call again

The calls originally started coming when I was nursing a cancer stricken husband.Sometimes there would be people on the line, sometimes not. If I was late picking up the call, they would never leave a message. Finally one day I answered & someone told me they were calling on behalf of our local home delivery paper. They wanted us to change our pymt. schedule from weekly to the carrier to 6 mts. - year with the paper. I told them no as I had no idea how long my husband was going to be with us and I'm not a big fan of our paper. At this time I asked them to take us off their calling list which they said wouldn't be a problem.  3 more calls after that, I phoned up our local paper and told them 'Since they won't listen to me, you better. Cancel my subscription & have these calls stopped or I will have your company charged with harrassement.  Apparently, if you have a business associaction with anyone the DNCL DOES NOT APPLY TO THEM. Therefore I figured my subscription was cancelled, no business dealings everything ok.  Not so. They called tonight specified they were calling from SUN MEDIA and wanted to know if I got my Thursday night flyers.  You will never get rid of these unwanted phone calls until you  rid yourself of any dealings with Sun Media. Sorry Folks

Unfortunately they have up to 18 months after you stop doing business with them to make sales calls and other types of calls are not covered at all until you request they stop calling you. You may have to send a cease and desist letter via certified mail to get them to truly stop. Sad that businesses are so callous as to disregard what their customer's preferences are.

This caller was blocked both by my Bell call block service and my Panasonic home phone which has an option to block unwanted callers.  But this caller keeps calling even though I have an unlisted phone number.  I also registered years ago for a Do Not Call register in Canada to stop calls from telemarketers.

Today is Saturday...apparently they think people will automatically pick up thinking it's a legit call.
Get caller ID and Call Block...problem solved.  Idiots like,this (my call block has 21 unwanted callers listed) yet most of these idiots still try and call.

got a call from this number, they wanted me to give them my Credit card number they said it was a new paper that I get (Journal de Montreal ) , This message was left  on my cell

This phone number called me at 2AM and awoke me with an automated message about a credit card and then disconnected.

Dont call again have ID, will never answer
