This is a scam marketing co. They never ask for a name. They basically state they need to verify info they have on file for you "meaning whomever happens to answer the phone" and try to pry privileged info from you.
Report them to FCC, Do not call registry and the attorney general in  your state.

I got the same voice mail and I'm not calling back. The guy left a vague message, he even made it sound like the beginning of the message was cut off - (as in "What? Did I miss something important?" -- NOT) and he went on about verifying info and how we're running out of time. No thanks!!!
Glad I found this site and can see others have had the same call.

Just received the same call from this number, what a joke. As you said, the first part of the message cut off, so definitely a scam.

I also just received a recorded message and it also sounded like the begining was cut off. I did however call back and a male answered , I said what is this company ? He said well if you give me your name I can tell you why I called. I said you guys left a message and it said you needed to verify information and said call back at 1-877-792-0095 and ask for me. I told the guy the message was very unprofessional and who the h--- is me ! He again asked for my name I told him I was not giving him my name if he would not tell me who he was. He was extremely rude and said OK MAM then hung up. Someone needs to get these people to stop what they are doing. Please do not give them your information. SCAMMERS

I keep getting calls from this number.  Asking who are you they will not give you any information.  I have called several times and actually been put on hold. This is truly a scam.  Left me a message that I need to call to verify. Reason Asset Management Solutions is who Will said they are when I called again.  I blocked my phone number and he still knew it.  I think these people should be taken down.  I told him that I was turning them into the FCC and the FBI.  He says they are a collection agency.  But why when you do a reverse lookup on the number there is nothing.

You will have to cancel your mother's credit card and obtain copies of her credit report. This sounds like a collection agency to me, one that purchases junk debt. Now that they have her ss#, if there is an old charge off or something like that on her report and she owns a home or has bank accounts (in other words, attachable assets), there exists the possibility that the collection agency can obtain a judgment and use that to attach her assets. If the property owned is in FL an it is her primary residence, it will not be able to be attached to satisfy a debt.

Since at this point your mother doesn't understand that people should NEVER provide personal information over the phone, or in person for that matter, unless it's to a physician or other fiduciary relationship, some type of supervision may be needed before something very bad like identity theft happens.

This is a collection agency. I doubt that one of those reverse lookups on AnyWho will yield a mailing address, but if an address can be found, my suggestion would be to send them a cease and desist letter via certified mail, referening only to: "repeated, unwanted and unwelcome phone calls to 555-555-1212" (they already have your # anyway, but provide no more information than that).

Cease and desist letters can be "Googled" and should be signed by the head of the household and the letter itself reiterating that "any alleged debt associated with any member of the "Johnson" family is hereby disclaimed and you demand that they cease contact with your household at once.

I would also recommend faxing a copy of the letter to the attorney general's office in the state where the office is located, putting cc: Jack Parker, Attorney General, State of Illinois at the bottom.

They called me and asked me to call back to verify info regarding a file. What kind of crazy scam is this? People need to wise up and the sumbags would be out of business.

I revived call from them today
and went on this website to
see what this number is. So
    after reading I've decided to
call them to see what they'll
say (I was sure not to give
    any info out)
so after a quick " if you know
the ext. of person you're tring to
    reach press 1 something something
press 2 or stay on the line and our
    agent will derect your call.
So I did and a male picked up
and I said that I've got a call from them
and wanted to know what it's about.
He asked for a random person
and I say you must have the
    wrong number. So he's say
do you know mr. random (I just don't
    remember the name he said)
    and I said No!
So he said we'll remove your #
from the system, sorry for the
    inconvinience and hung up....
