Just got a call from this number.  Didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number.  They left a voicemail- it was the financial institution where my friend just applied for a car loan and used me as a reference.  Totally legit.

Got a call, didn't recognize the number-answered anyway, the person on the line stated that a friend used me as a personal reference....I don't give personal references of any kind.

Just received call from this number, wanting to verify an employees employment, I told the girl that I needed to have something in writing requesting such information, that I didn't give that information out over the phone.  Oh, that's ok she said I have his check stub here in front of me???? I just want to verify if he still works there, again I told her that she could fax over the information she is requesting and I would be glad to fill it out and send it back....WELL the fax never came....imagine that!!  

Received Employee verification from 1-877-792-6261. Requested fax correspondence at time of call. No fax was received.

just bought a car and this number popped up on my cell....i wasnt able to answer the phone because i was at work...however they did leave a voice message stating that they were a finance company and ttlheyre trying to get ahold of me to do a mandatory customer interview...never heard of such thing...i thought everything was done at the dealership...hope this is not a scam

By the way...the name of the company is GO FINANCIAL

They are a company called Go Financial AKA Go Credit. They finance cars for people with bad or no credit. The company is out of Arizona. And I spoke to a white lady name Angela. She was professional. Hope this helps.

I work at a dealership. some banks like go finanicial have mandatory customer interviews before they fund a car deal to make sure you are not buying the car for someone else. And to make sure you are satisfied with the purchase.

Doesn't mean your friends didn't use u as a reference with out asking happens to me all the time and I tell people not to

I have a car loan with this company. It's Go Financial. Whenever I miss a payment, they call. Sometimes they don't leave a message and just call back. It's legit.
