Oh man. Just activated cell phone, brand new, brand new number for me anyway.  The first three calls I received were from this company. Really? How did I get so lucky? Now it will never end.

The same thing happened to me so I messed with them. They said I owe 25.93. They said I have to pay over the phone with a credit or debit and I said I only have paypal. They kept on insisting that I have to pay over phone but I said I can't. They told me to sign into an account I haven't used in a year and it was suspended. So I told them everything worked and I was signed in and that I paid it and they said give us the transaction number. Then I started busting this dudes balls

This is a legitimate collection agency.  Ebay uses them.  My minor son posted some items and owes money to Ebay.  He shared that with me today...surprise Dad!

Allied is anything  but legitimate, but since you think they are, why did you look up the number?  By the way, minors cannot make contracts, and therefore would not be legally responsible for paying e bay money.  I'm wondering why he would owe them money also for something he was allegedly selling?

I called eBay, and spoke to their billing and then their fraud escalation department after receiving a letter from Allied Interstate, LLC stating my wife (who has never had an eBay account) owed money that was now in collection. Allied is not even a US based company and a total scam according to eBay. Send any correspondence you receive to spoof@ebay.com.

They never leave a message when they call me. They call me often before 9 a.m and at least twice a week. This is very annoying and I want it to stop. If they are legit they should have my address and can send me their info. I just want it to stop.

Consider getting a call blocking device (or app for your cell phone)-they're available online and start around $45. https://800notes.com/nb/search?q=call+blockers

Got a link to any authority on that point about Allied being a scam according to E-Bay?

Vile creatures who try to collect. "We're here to help". Teehee they are also funny. Pay them only the respect that scum deserves. If you make contact, do the right thing; before you answer anything they ask, be prepared with a litany of questions to put them on the defensive. Give them nothing about yourself except your disrespect. The only god they believe in is the one on the dollar bill.

This number calls me at 7am, 8am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 9pm, and then all over again everyday for the past month. Its about a debt to my school for $100...yeah I've told them I plan on returning to school (I'm pregnant and has to stop for a few months and helloooo babies are expensive every penny counts) and that I will pay it as soon I return and possibly can. The man on the other line asked me if he can come pick it up from me personally and that this NEEDS to be paid URGENTLY. yeah right... its school debt.. and no debt needs to be paid if you just cant pay it at the moment... smh. don't let these people scare you.

No, they don't "get your phone number from the do not call lists". Why would they spend thousands of dollars for the DNC list when all they have to do is use a robo-dialler to call all numbers in a given sequence?
