breast cancer drive scam

I missed a call from this number. The voicemail left was 9 seconds of silence. I was greeted by a chipper agent voice when I called it back. It didn't identify a company or provide an agent name. It sounded like a real time response system that uses speech recognition in an attempt to convince callers they're speaking to a live agent. The agent voice started a few seconds before the office background noise kicked in; which is also a giveaway you're talking to a machine. It's not clear whether this is a legitimate business using an auto-dialer to connect to customers/clients, etc, or a robocaller used for advertising or phishing.

Robo call

Another call today, immediately followed by 2 calls from 8889754435, minutes apart.  All show on Called ID as UNKNOWN.  My phone is now set up where you have to say your name or hit * to continue through with the call, before it even rings, because the spam calls were getting so bad (The American Police Fund, or whatever their name, begging for donations and showing BRANDYWINE WV, was the final straw, calling early and late, for over a week, 2x a day) I finally sat down and spent time figuring it out on my phone, and robo calls no longer exisit for me, but show on Caller ID
